What an amazing weekend training at Pennyroyal Scuba Center! First off, join us in congratulating 11 new Open Water Divers!!! 🎉Battling crystal clear vis and sweltering water temps 😏, these divers put in some hard work and all came away feeling accomplished....some maybe even "overconfident!" His words, not ours. lol.

But that's not all, we also have 6 new specialty divers. A big congrats to them as well, for staying flexible and working around the brand new divers, and expanding their diving knowledge. Well done!

There were A LOT of moving pieces, and everyone did great staying on task and on time. Even though some had to be told, "We're in the water, no more talking!" Even with all we had to get done, we made it work. But we could not have accomplished things as efficiently as we did, without the tremendous help of our 3 Divemaster Candidates! Their professionalism and enthusiasm for what we do made things run smoothly! Our candidates had to give site and dive briefs, lead dives, take constructive feedback from the instructors, and keep coming back for more with a smile on their faces! Not ONLY that, 2 of our candidates earned their Master Diver Recognition rating! Great job! These candidates took a HUGE step towards completing their Divemaster Program! We greatly appreciate the hard work you've been putting in. Stay on the lookout for more on that later! We're getting there! 💪

Lastly for the bonus divers we had join us this weekend, it was a pleasure. Even though the instructors may not have had much time to devote to y'all, it was still great to see y'all and have y'all with us. Looking forward to diving with everyone again!🫧

❓What's an SMB? It's an inflatable safety tube used by divers to mark their location as they ascend and return to the surface so boats and other divers can see them.
