🕊️ IN LOVING MEMORY OF KHALIL DABBS 🕊️

Today, the Lima Warriors and The Players Football Association family mourn the loss of a young man who meant far more than what he did on the football field.

Khalil Wheezy Dabbs was gentle, kind-hearted, humble, and the definition of a team player. He brought an energy and spirit that his teammates, coaches, and everyone around the Lima Warriors Franchise will remember.

This season, Wheezy earned the Special Teams Award and the “Don’t Count Me Out” Award recognition he was genuinely excited and proud to receive stating he had never received anything for football before. That excitement made it even more meaningful when he announced that he was coming back to suit up with the Lima Warriors in 2027. 🔴⚫️⚪️

Sadly, that next season together will not come the way everyone imagined. But Wheezy will forever be a part of the Warriors family. His jersey, his smile, his accomplishments, and most importantly, the person he was, will not be forgotten.

On behalf of The Lima Warriors Franchise and The Players Football Association, we extend our deepest condolences to Khalil’s family, friends, teammates, coaches, and everyone who loved him.

May his family find peace, strength, and comfort during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest easy, Wheezy. 🕊️
Once a Warrior, Forever a Warrior. ❤️🖤🏈

🏆 THE FIRST EVER PFA ICON AWARD WINNER 🏆

The Players Football Association is proud to officially recognize Terrance Sims A.KA. Tee Sims as the VERY FIRST recipient of the PFA Icon Award.

The PFA Icon Award is a new, once a season honor personally presented by the Commissioner to an individual whose legacy, leadership, accomplishments, and impact represent what Professional Advancement Football is all about.

And there couldn’t be a more fitting person to receive it first.

21 years with the Detroit Ravens and counting. From PLAYER → COACH → OWNER, Terrance Sims has built a resume that speaks for itself: championships, undefeated seasons, historic winning streaks, NATIONAL HEAD COACH of the Year honors, and an 80–4 overall record while continuing to make an impact beyond the Ravens as Head Coach of Bradford Academy and a UFL coach with the Columbus Aviators.

But the PFA Icon Award goes beyond wins and trophies. It represents LEGACY. LEADERSHIP. LONGEVITY. IMPACT.

Terrance Sims has demonstrated all four.

Congratulations to Terrance Sims the inaugural and FIRST-EVER PFA ICON AWARD WINNER!

You know how we operate at The PFA: we continue to evolve, continue to create, and continue ADVANCING THE CULTURE.

🙌🏽 CONCLUSION OF THE 2026 PFA SEASON 🙌🏽

The Players Football Association along with The Rundown , Rival Live Productions, and our National Partner Trinity Trifecta bring to you the final recap of the 2026 season!!! Let’s begin!!!

Legacy Bowl:

Capital City Bandits 12 😎
Great Lakes Giants 6 🫡

Trust me… this game was AMAZING!!! A very very defensive battle and one for the ages!!! The VERY first winner of The Legacy Bowl and have etched their name into history and they are the Capital City Bandits!!! Big ups to Coach Mack and all that he has accomplished in just his second season!!! With this win they will solidify their automatic bid to the NBSE in Indianapolis, IN!!! Great season to my franchise and see you soon in Indy!!! To my Giants… tough year with everything that transpired BUT you made it through and completed the mission… it may not have ended how you wanted but you found out a lot about not just yourselves but the people around you especially athletes… I am very excited to see how this will be built for next season… all eyes are on you guys!!!

2A National Midwest Championship:

Glass City Tigers 🍩
Flag City Phantoms 18 😮‍💨

Couldn’t have asked for a much better performance from both of these franchises!!! ANOTHER Defensive battle!!! Both teams showed up with MAXIMUM effort… the stage was set… the crowd was amazing… the food and presentation was spectacular… the stream was phenomenal… all that was left was a winner… and “Down Goes Frazier”… your 2A National Midwest Champion is the Flag City Phantoms!!! With an incredible performance down the stretch… was able to grab the points they needed to seal the deal!!! FCP has been to 3 straight CHAMPIONSHIPS in a ROW here in The PFA… and have finally got one on the third attempt!!! If that team last night shows up every game they’re UNSTOPPABLE!!! To GCT way to Stand tall… way to compete on a HIGH level… way to show your city that you are the real deal and you should be proud no matter the outcome!!! This was a very hard season for you guys having to travel 11 games straight but you made it to your very first Championship and even if it didn’t ended how you expected there’s still more work to be done as both franchises will be in the National Bowl Series Events in Indianapolis, IN on October 3rd-4th with a chance to still make it to Florida! Let’s keep fighting let’s keep pushing!!! Great season!!!

To my Franchises of The PFA… I love you all thank you for an amazing, awesome, incredible, yet stressful year!!! I am proud of you all no matter what… I have done my very best and have put on the biggest platform I could ever do… let’s see what the rest of 2026 will hold going into 2027!!!

Owner/Commissioner

THE GAME CHANGERS. THE FIELD FLIPPERS. THE ONES WHO MAKE THE DIFFERENCE. ⚡🏈

Special teams doesn’t get the spotlight until somebody CHANGES THE GAME.

One return can flip momentum.
One kick can decide a championship.
One block can turn a close game into a statement.
One player can completely change the field.

These six earned their place among the PFA 2026 2A–3A ALL-PRO SPECIAL TEAMS through impact, consistency, ex*****on, and the willingness to do the work that doesn’t always show up on the stat sheet.
