New to boating? The United States Coast Guard is hosting an Introduction to Basic Boating Safety Seminar on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The seminar is open to the public and will be held in the Corpus Christi Marina Boaters’ Center classroom, located at the T-head at 98 Peoples Street. This is a non-certification course for those with little to no boating safety background. The seminar is limited to the first 30 attendees.

The Buc Days Rally Night Parade on April 25th at 8:00 p.m. will affect vehicle and pedestrian traffic at the Lawrence St T-head and Coopers Alley L-head. If you're visiting the marina next Saturday, be sure to arrive by midafternoon to avoid the road closures and increased traffic.
