Wednesday Wisdom from Jack LaLanne
“The only way to hurt your body is not to use it.”
Your body was designed to move.
Every walk, workout, stretch, and healthy choice helps keep you strong, capable, and independent.
Motion is medicine. Inactivity is the real enemy.
No matter your age, use your body and it will serve you well for years to come.

Some post-show shots from last night. I asked the girls to choose their favorite poses so I could get their pictures. Impossible to do when I'm running the show, lol. A fantastic night as always, so much fun and everybody was just spectacular! Or as we might say in 80"s speak , totally awesome!💙💗💚💛⭐️

Happy Mother's Day from The Heirloom Gardener - John Forti!
"What was your mother's favorite plant? My mothers was the peace rose. My Italian grandmother loved red roses, basil and peonies. My Irish grandmother loved bittersweet and lily of the valley. My neighbor mother loved dahlia, and my Japanese host mother loved camellia and cherry blossoms. The first herb I remember my mother using was bay. Just as my grandmother before her, she made it into a soothing tea.
What is the first plant your mothers taught you about?
Do you grow any of the plants that were passed down through the generations of women in your family & what plants or gardening skills have you shared with the next generation?
Happy Mother's Day to all of my earth mother friends!"
