Meet Mark Dominguez - Stone Creek Tennis Pro🎾

With more than 25 years of teaching and leadership experience, Mark Dominguez brings an extensive background in competitive tennis and player development to Stone Creek. A USPTA-certified professional since 1998, Mark grew up in Gulfport, Mississippi, where he was a Top 10-ranked junior player in the South and received the Mississippi Tennis Association’s Moore Sportsmanship Award.

Mark continued his tennis career at the University of New Orleans on a four-year scholarship, competing at the No. 1 singles position and earning both team and conference sportsmanship honors.

Following college, Mark worked as a teaching professional at the Hilton River Center and The Beach Club in Metairie, where he and his doubles partner became the No. 1 ranked team in Louisiana. He then spent 26 years at a local tennis club, serving as Director of Tennis.

Mark brings decades of playing, coaching, and leadership experience to Stone Creek and looks forward to helping players of all levels improve their game.

Parents’ Night Out is this Friday from 6–9 PM, and we’re bringing the superhero fun. Kids can dress as their favorite hero and enjoy an obstacle course, create a superhero mask, and write letters to local heroes as part of our kindness project.

For 25 years, we have promised to never forget.

This September 11, Stone Creek’s community put those words into action.

More than 100 members, staff, first responders, and members of our community stepped onto the stair climbers, each step taken in remembrance of the lives lost and the courage, sacrifice, and service shown on September 11, 2001.

Some climbed in honor of a name.
Some climbed in honor of a profession.
Some simply climbed because remembering matters.

Together, we pushed through tired legs, heavy breaths, and countless steps, knowing that what we were doing could never compare to the sacrifice made on September 11, 2001, but hoping that in some small way, we could honor it.

Because of our community’s incredible generosity, Stone Creek raised more than $5,000 for the First Responders Children’s Foundation, supporting the children and families of the heroes who continue to serve and protect us every day.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, Goodbee Fire Department, and Madisonville Fire Department for standing beside us, supporting this tribute, and climbing with our community.

A special thank you to Sheriff Bret Ibert for joining us and supporting our participants. Having our local first responders there made this tribute even more meaningful.

To every person who climbed.
To every person who donated.
To every sponsor, volunteer, staff member, and supporter who helped carry this event forward, thank you.

We will never fully understand the courage shown that morning.

But we can remember it.
We can honor it.
And we can make sure future generations never forget it.

2,977 lives. Countless heroes. One promise: Never Forget.
