Frank and Anthony teamed up with their favorite horse friends, Sven and Moonpie, for this week’s painting challenge. Together, they created beautiful masterpieces filled with creativity, teamwork, and plenty of horse-powered inspiration.

There’s something truly magical about the bond between our kiddos and equine heroes. Through every interaction, these special partnerships remind us of the healing, joy, and connection that horses bring into our lives. We’re so proud of the artwork they created together! 🎨🐴💙

More of our riders and therapists are stepping up to the obstacle course and proving they’ve got true rodeo spirit! From weaving through obstacles to swinging those lassos, these cowboys and cowgirls are looking like seasoned pros out in the arena. 🤠🐴

🏇📣 Attention Racers — We’re Heading Into Weeks 4 & 5 of Racing Towards a Good Cause! 🐴

The next challenge is officially LIVE, and this one is all about speed, balance, and skill as teams take on our exciting Obstacle Course Challenge! 🎉

The course is set up and ready to go for the rest of this week and next week. Riders will start at the line by the wheelchair swing, choose their hobby horse, grab a cowboy hat, and race against the clock through the course! ⏱️🐎

We’ve already had a few friends and horses checking out the course to make sure everything is ready to go — and a special thanks to Moonpie and Whiskey for helping keep the grass nicely trimmed! 🌱🐴✨

Whether you’re aiming for the fastest time or just out to have fun and support a great cause, this challenge is sure to bring lots of laughs, teamwork, and friendly competition. 💙

Right out of the gate, Clem & Alli on Team 9 have taken a commanding lead with an incredible $620 raised! They’re setting a blistering pace as they charge toward the finish line! 🥇🔥

But wait — here comes Lark & Whitney from Team 3 making a strong move on the outside with $470! The competition is tightening as they gain ground fast! 🏇💨

Holding steady in third, Buddy & Ali from Team 2 are staying in the hunt with $370 raised and plenty of race left to run! 👏🐎

All of our teams have completed their painting challenge alongside their incredible equine teammates, and the artwork is now proudly hanging in our waiting room for everyone to enjoy.

Even better — these one-of-a-kind creations are now available for auction! Bidding starts at just $20, with all proceeds supporting Dream Riders and the amazing work our horses do every day.

This month, we celebrate an incredible milestone — Kathy’s 21st anniversary with Dream Riders! ❤️🐴

For the last 2 decades, Kathy has been an important part of our arena team while also serving as a bridge between our therapists and arena staff. Her kindness, teamwork, and dedication help keep everything running smoothly.

“I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to work with and more importantly learn from, so many incredible people over the yrs that have made me what I am today.

I love watching doubters become believers in the power of what a horse can do for a child by just being the amazing animal that it is.
I'm also humbled and privileged by the parents that have allowed me, trusted me, to be a part of the team helping their child work to achieve their goals.

Through both laughter and sometimes tears, I love what we do here to help children and their families.

Team 8 is racing straight from the heart. ❤️
Beth and Reggie have always represented the true spirit of Dream Riders, and though Reggie’s hoofprints can never be replaced, his presence is still guiding this team every step of the way.

Stepping up to the starting gate is Whiskey, proudly carrying the torch for his friend, while Beth called in an extra secret weapon — the adorable Benny — to help bring this touching masterpiece to life. Together they created a breathtaking painted sky in honor of Reggie, reminding us all that some spirits never leave our hearts. 🌈🐴

Their heartfelt creation, “Spirit in the Sky,” is a tribute to the horse who touched so many lives and will forever gallop beside us in spirit.

🏇 Team 3 is charging out of the gates! Lark and Whitney brought in their secret weapon — mini cowboy Nicholas — for this week’s painting challenge, and this trio came ready to win. 🎨🤠

Inspired by the bold colors and creativity of Nicholas’ garage door masterpiece, Team 3 absolutely knocked this challenge right out of the race track. Lark delivered every brushstroke like a seasoned champion, and this team is making a serious move toward the winner’s circle. 🌈🐴

And they’re off! Team 4 came charging out of the gate with strategy, style, and serious star power. Kelsy, Nora, and McKenna carefully prepared the canvas for their four-legged teammate, Whiskey, who galloped in to add the finishing touches like a seasoned champion.

Paint flew, creativity soared, and Whiskey handled his masterpiece duties like a true race horse under the bright lights of derby day. This team is making a strong move down the stretch and proving they came to compete for the crown.
