Palou earned his sixth win of 2026 and became just the third driver in NTT INDYCAR SERIES history to record six or more wins in consecutive seasons, joining Mario Andretti and Sébastien Bourdais.

Congratulations to Alessandro de Tullio, AJ Foyt Racing and HMD Motorsports on a commanding win at Portland International Speedway! The 2026 pole-sitter led every lap, won by more than two seconds and captured his second career INDY NXT victory. Both of his wins this season have come from pole.

Congratulations to Felix Rosenqvist and Meyer Shank Racing on capturing the pole for today’s race at Portland International Speedway! The reigning Indianapolis 500 winner earned his second pole of the 2026 season and eighth of his NTT INDYCAR SERIES career in the eye-catching No. 60 SiriusXM car featuring a Grateful Dead tribute livery.

Kudos to AJ Foyt Racing and Alessandro de Tullio on capturing the pole at Portland International Speedway! The 2026 pole winner earned his eighth pole of the season, tying Dennis Hauger, Townsend Bell and Bryan Herta for the second-most poles in a single INDY NXT season and moving within one of Pato O'Ward's record of nine.

TBT 1995: After an accident in practice, Robby Gordon's team repaired his car in time for qualifying, where he captured the pole with a blistering 108.318 mph lap. Gordon briefly lost the lead before reclaiming it on Lap 43 and holding off Jimmy Vasser, Scott Pruett and Michael Andretti in a thrilling finish at the 1995 Detroit Grand Prix on Belle Isle.
