If we didn't know better, it would appear members of the Devils Lake Rodeo Club - Devils Lake Chute Out Rodeo were having a pre-rodeo rendezvous in Bowman, ND at the ND High School Rodeo Finals.

For our rodeo fans looking for an opportunity to celebrate Old Glory, then men and women who fought for her, and remembering the many lives lost in pursuit of freedom, on this Memorial Day area VFW posts are hosting Memorial Day programs with military salutes throughout the Lake Region.

Our favorite "Girl in Lime Green Jeans," and a forever Miss Rodeo North Dakota, Lindsey Miller has introduced a second literary work in her rodeo queen collection of books for budding rodeo queens, fans and followers.

We have a very special place in our hearts for Miss Miller on the Devils Lake Rodeo Club and couldn't be more proud of her and this accomplishment.

Thank you to all our active duty, reserve, and retired from duty military veterans!! While we on the Devils Lake Rodeo Club salute you every day and thank you for protecting the many freedoms we hold dear, we'd like to spread the word throughout May as Military Appreciation Month.
