AGF Springfield was a good weekend for Veritas 🥋

Our kids stepped on the mats and put together some great matches. They fought hard, stayed composed, and showed what they’ve been working on in class.

Their favorite part of the day was still watching their coach compete. Justin Overton had the loudest cheering section in the building, and he earned every bit of it.

Proud of this team, on and off the mats🖤

Bittersweet one for the Veritas family. 💜

Allison Flaherty, one of our baddest purple belts, is moving on. Not only is she relocating, she's also graduating from her Physician Assistant program. Talk about going out on top.

We're sending her off right: see ya later rolls on Saturday, September 26th from 12-1. Come roll with her one last time, share a story, get a picture. Allison, we're gonna miss you on the mats. Proud of everything you've accomplished.

Busy weekend at Veritas 👇

POV: you asked for a “small drop” of new merch. Veritas sticker packs are here, 4 stickers for $4 a pack.

A year ago we sat our coaches down and asked them to introduce themselves. Watching it back now, it’s wild seeing how much has changed — new students, new belts, new stories. Should we do it again?

Robson’s already hyped for it — 10+ seminars, graduations, awards, Friday night at Elev8, Saturday banquet, and enough jiu-jitsu knowledge to make your training partners nervous.

This is the one where you train alongside the whole team, learn from a 6th degree black belt, and leave with new tricks AND new stories.

Space is limited. Link in bio to reserve your spot. 🥋

Started Friday with the rules meeting, then the mats didn’t stop moving.

Saturday, our kids left everything out there — full effort, no holding back.

Sunday, the adults showed what all that hard work looks like when it pays off.

Wins, losses, first medals, hard-fought matches — all of it. This is what community looks like.

Come see what Veritas Jiu Jitsu is all about

Sharpening the tools this week ahead of AGF. 🔪

Reminder: rules meeting tomorrow (Fri) at 6pm — we’ll cover scoring/points and answer any questions before competition day. If you’re competing, be there.

Let’s go, Veritas. 👊
