Step 2, take your fresh Spec bullet to Engler Machine and Dyno for a great tune up preparing for 100 miles on dirt! I’m convinced if you don’t tune at Engler’s you might as well stay home on the porch!

John spent time today putting together a nice radiator cover and rock guard! Thanks to Jeff at Behrent’s Performance Warehouse on the new BSC double pass radiator, nice piece! I think we are good to go now for a 100 miler!

I wanted to share some history about the Action Track to those that have not been to or raced there. It’s amazing to me, from my 80’s racing TQ’s, winning Ventura Raceway track championship growing up in Ventura California. Reading about racing hero’s Foyt, Jones, Andretti, Unser, Rice, dreaming of racing there. Now we are, racing amongst, creating new hero’s!

It was before it wasn’t! Unloaded Fast, 3rd quick through hot laps, missed it a bit and qualified 9th, but we have a 100 laps. About 5 laps in got the rock, not paper-scissors, Chase picked off cars fighting for 5th in early laps, retired to the pits lap 39. Team is solid every race, tough and committed!
