Our first practice is today, and we are excited to get back on the field.

That is a wrap on BRYC Football Skills Camp!

We closed out the week Friday night with our Bring-a-Friend Night, plenty of 7-on-7 football, games, competition, and ice cream to finish things off.

It was a great week of football, with our athletes working on offensive and defensive fundamentals, speed and agility, position-specific skills, teamwork, and competition. Even better, they had fun doing it.

Thank you to every player who came out, every friend who joined us, every family who supported the week, and every coach and volunteer who helped make camp a success.

Great camp. Great group. Great way to head into the season.

Day 4 of BRYC Football Skills Camp brought us back to offense!

Our athletes continued developing their position-specific fundamentals, footwork, ball skills, and teamwork through another night of offensive stations and competition.

We were also joined by Woodson Head Football Coach McBride, who spoke with our players about living and playing in the moment, focusing on what they can control, and always playing for “your team.”

Thank you, Coach McBride, for sharing an important message with our athletes and for investing in the next generation of football players in our community.

Four days down, with one final night of camp ahead!

Day 3 of BRYC Football Skills Camp put our athletes to the test!

On Wednesday, our partners at True Athlete Performance joined us to lead our annual camp combine. Players tested their speed, quickness, explosiveness, and agility through a series of timed drills and competitions.

The combine gave each athlete an opportunity to compete, establish a benchmark, and see how athletic testing connects to performance on the football field.

A big thank you to the TrueAP team for bringing their expertise, energy, and encouragement to camp. We are proud to partner with professionals who share our commitment to developing young athletes!

A tornado watch was not going to keep us from getting better on Tuesday.

BRYC Football Skills Camp moved indoors to the Robinson gym, where our athletes got to work on defensive fundamentals, including agility, stance, footwork, coverage, and tackling technique.

We were also joined by Lake Braddock Head Football Coach Doc, who spoke with our players about being coachable and what it takes to succeed on and off the field.

We are not sure how often a Lake Braddock head coach gets the floor inside the Robinson gym, but we appreciate both Coach Doc and Robinson Head Coach Pannoni spending time with our athletes and supporting youth football in our community.

What a way to kick off BRYC Football Skills Camp!

On Monday, our athletes rotated through five offensive stations, working on position-specific fundamentals, footwork, ball skills, technique, and teamwork with our BRYC coaches.

We were also fortunate to have Robinson Head Football Coach Gerry Pannoni stop by to speak with our players. Thank you, Coach Pannoni, for spending time with our athletes and supporting youth football in our community!
