Stoned.
Nature, the original stylist, therapist, “torturer” and guide…
Her cues, reminding us when to shed, when to pause, when to root...
To take a deep dive.
Trusting the wobbles, centered and balanced, from the deep deep, core…
Immersed in transition… on, in, with stone.
Movement meets fashion, fashion as function and form…
Trying a new but also old life on for size…
Forest bathing. Fitting room.
Here, mid-day, peppermint dipped, all was sun-synced and “in time”...
The shifts, the softening, the steady building… swimming into that deep.
The wobblings on this and that stones weren’t mistakes.
More like stories made up of ridiculous outtakes.
And from the dark, sprinkles of golden light...
Magic re-sparked, it was time, cause life.
A shift in perspective… an evolution of self.
From becoming... to be.
It was a hello to self.

Sun Synced.
From fashion to food to flow, now, fun.
The fall harvest, it’s golden hour…
Solar currency for mid-day.
In a vintage blue truck, analog, transparent and sparkling. Into the unknown but knowing, we’re all exactly where we need... to be.
‘Tis the season meant to fill us up vs weighing us down.
But before we’re submerged in Giving Thanks, Black Friday, and Mistletoe Moments… a breath.
Time to let go, not just what we’ve kept, but what’s kept us. That is, from becoming, nature’s only asking us simply... to be.

Brands lie. But labels tell their story.
As in…
Everyone talks a really great talk. Their ads and claims sound amazing. Zero plastic. No synthetics. One hundred percent natural.
But if it’s headline sustainability, fine print is where you’ll find the truth. And the truth is that very few walk allll their talk. Many fall short. Some just lie. It’s prolific at this point.
Now, this is not about perfection. Hardly. But it is about honesty. From brands and from consumers.
As in…
What brands can make while making margins. What people are willing to buy. What lasts. What stays out of landfills. What keeps us cool or warm...
Lots of questions. Lots of nuance. Lots of ummmm my Sustainable Glossary has been relevant since 2013.
Anyways.
As I have been musing, materials hold memory and stories. They connect us. So where, how, and who matter. From seed to store, it all counts and it’s also kinda exciting!
See, these days, farmers supported by brands and consumers are redefining what natural fibers can become.
And full steam ahead, from field to lab, innovators are creating plant-based fur and flower-filled insulation that eschew animals and reduce our reliance on synthetics.
Interesting conversations and developments from brands at the center, consumers in general and those who support fashion. Well, Fashion. With a side of granola.
Things to think about and more to come…
Night!

PS: there are a LOT of brands having a lot of honest conversations… and you’ll find many in my Considered Curiosities. Link in bio!

Aesthetic Intensity.
Natural storytellers… Fiber’s hold stories. Materials, they have memory.
From what we consume to what we wear to what we create and touch... how we interact with our environments… we’re all connected. Connected via that human to human, human to nature frequency connection.
Here, an artist, a city, a moment in real life, but a lifetime ago. Organic and fluid, yet structured and intentional, transforming nature’s utility into art. Inspired by their twisted movements and connected elements, her work of forming fibers into something new… a mid-week reminder that change, when natural, only takes a subtle shift in perspective to find its place...
A wink and a nod to how simple living more consciously can be. Aligned, layered, linked… life in flow happens only when we let go.

Like a nightclub, but in the mountains...
Where humans gather, share, nourish, create, thrive… and tell stories. For thousands of years, fire’s been THE place for connection.
Around this campfire, potatoes instead of marshmallows (great call, Jenna), laughter, guitar strums, rustling wind, the crackle of flames… my vegan cowboy boots and sparkly bloomers felt right at home in the Ozarks’ glitter and dirt.
Fast forward, after decades of people asking (or not, and I’ve shared anyway) what I wear, sleep on, move in, slather on, and where to begin… within my digital campfire, it felt time to gather what’s been sprinkled here and there and finally give my Considered Curiosities a home of their own.
Yep! Personally curated. Editorially inclined. Remotely refined.
Whether you’re here for mindful movement, conscious living, or simply wanting to fill your closet with sustainable style, this page includes my go-to brands… the ones I wear, use daily, and the resources that support “Life. With a Side of Granola.”
Toby’s golden (retriever) favorites are there too.
Because real luxury isn’t logos. It’s a lifestyle. And these ripples, ladies… especially ours, travel far.
