Last night’s Buddy Day Parents’ Night Out was full of laughter, games, and kids making memories together. We loved seeing our students welcome their buddies and share what they love about the DOJO!

Need a fun, safe place for your kids to spend the day? We also have camps Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday!

Then this Saturday, bring your friends for Buddy Day! 🙌

🥋 Ages 4–6: Bring a friend to your morning class for some DOJO fun!

🍕 Ages 7–12: Enjoy a FREE Parents’ Night Out with karate, weapons, dodgeball, pizza, and friends! Bring a buddy who isn’t a current member or sibling to join the fun.

“I’m bored.”

Parents, we don’t always have to fix that immediately.

It’s tempting to turn on a screen or fill every quiet moment. But give kids a little time, and that boredom can become a backyard game, a cardboard fort, or something they never would have thought to try.

This week’s Parent Playbook challenge: set aside some time without screens—for us, too. Leave out a book, some art supplies, or a board game. Let the complaints pass and see what happens next.

We want our kids to discover that they can create their own fun. Sometimes, that starts with giving them room to figure it out.
