We believe in making every dancer feel at home by putting studio level dancers and company dancers in technique classes together based on skill level rather than just by age alone. Our philosophy is that dancers with the same skill levels will progress with more consistency. Each child is challenged but not overwhelmed as they work to reach their goals. At Abode we believe in making dance fun, our fresh approach to dance class makes our students excited to come to dance every week.

✨ MEET MISS OLIVIA! ✨
Hi, I’m Miss Olivia! I am the owner, Creative Director, and lead teacher at ONE Dance Initiative. 💙 I’ve been dancing since I was three years old, training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, tap, and more!
I graduated from the School for Creative & Performing Arts, where I majored in dance and was a part of the Pre-Professional Dance Ensemble. During my time there, I had the opportunity to perform in full-length ballets including Swan Lake, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Dracula, The Jungle Book, and more.
From 2014–2017, I was a member of Exhale Dance Tribe, a nonprofit professional dance company. I started as an apprentice and worked my way up to becoming a Senior Soloist. 🩵
I also attended Florida State University, where I was a part of the nationally ranked, fully student-run Seminole Dance Force. I was honored to be named captain my senior year by my teammates! ✨
I’ve been teaching since I was 16 years old, and teaching has always been one of my biggest passions. Being able to create a space where dancers can grow, feel confident, be challenged, and truly enjoy the process is something I’ve always dreamed of.
ONE Dance Initiative is the studio I’ve always dreamed of creating — a place where dancers feel supported, inspired, challenged, and proud to be themselves. 🦋💙
When I’m not at the studio (which isn’t very often 😂), I’m spending time with friends, reading, traveling, or hanging out with my cat, Rain. 🐱
I am SO excited for this season! It has already been so incredible, and I can’t wait to continue building this little family and watching our dancers grow throughout the year. 💙

We are SO proud of Mia and how much she has grown in just her first month of classes! She is diving into new tricks, new skills, and new styles of dance with no fear! 💙
Mia has been working so hard, and we are so happy to have her as part of the ODI family! We can’t wait to see where her growth takes her next!

Hi, I’m McKenzie! ✨ I’m a former Level 10 gymnast and Level 5 cheerleader with over 8 years of coaching experience. I’m passionate about helping dancers grow in strength, flexibility, confidence, and technique while creating a fun and encouraging environment. Outside of coaching, I love fitness, staying active, and anything adventurous. I can’t wait to help your dancers build skills, confidence, and a love for acro!
