Join us in celebrating an incredible milestone as Mr. Dan McDonough, owner and head instructor of National Karate Academy of Martial Arts - Cottage Grove is promoted to 7th Degree Black Belt on Saturday, August 8th.

With more than 30 years of training and teaching experience, Mr. McDonough has dedicated his life to martial arts as both an elite competitor and an exceptional instructor. A former Team USA member (2023–2025) and Team USA Coach (2025), he is a two-time NASKA World Champion and six-time WMAGC World Champion.

As the owner of Cottage Grove NK, Mr. McDonough has helped develop countless regional, national, and world champions while fostering a culture of excellence, respect, sportsmanship, and community. His leadership has guided his school to multiple National Karate Forms and Sparring Championships, along with several National Karate School Spirit Awards.

Please join us as we celebrate this well-deserved achievement and honor Mr. McDonough's lifelong dedication to martial arts.👏
