Yesterday was a time for fossils and big quartz from Arkansas

Biscuits are in the oven for breakfast and the household is stirring as we head out to the mineral show. It’s Sage’s last day - she and her dad fly home to Dallas late this afternoon. Here are some pictures I took along my way yesterday

My granddaughter Sage has arrived for her first trip to the gem and mineral show. We started out in the world of fossils. She has already scored some nice minerals for her collection - all the mineral folk love children who love rocks❤️

Today’s photo drop is some of the finest of the fine in Indian minerals from Matrix India. I have known the Makki family for as long as I have been coming to Tucson and it has been a wonderful to watch their business grow into the true showcase for the best minerals India has to offer. Enjoy.
