We’ve been working on driving out straighter and a better arm slot and 👩🏻‍🍳💋 today for Miss Sam!
Love working with her. So coachable. Works hard outside of lessons. Respectful. Looks me in the eyes when I’m teaching her. 👏🏼
So excited for the next year with her!

Stealing ideas from my girl Harley in Jersey. But PARENTS & CATCHERS…would you guys like this if we put hitting screens/nets between the lanes??
Only thing I see is the “legs” of the nets being “in the way” but I feel like this could be good?
Could help with tunneling as well.

‼️‼️‼️ industrial dr/main entrance off broadmoor to get to s3 is shut down due to construction 🫠
You’ll want to give yourself a couple extra minutes and take the alternate routes.
You can turn off broadmoor onto 76th to cherry valley or turn onto 84th and take that to cherry valley and take the back way.

The caption of the article is exciting but what really gets me is the behind the scenes. The ups and downs, the tears and the smiles, the moments when they want to quit and then come back for more. The pushing her and the loving her. SO much goes into these kids performing on the mound. It’s so special to be able a part of each of their journey & I do not take that role lightly. So proud of you, . We aren’t done yet!

Her: why do I have to do so many plyos?
Her after weeks and weeks of plyos/timing/hip fire drills.
Layla has been working on using her lower half properly so that she didn’t feel the need to muscle the ball with her arm. She’s grown a ton & keeps growing so we need to constantly keep working on mechanics.
On the left you can see her right knee tucked behind her left leg..not giving her the best hip fire/squeeze. Resulting in her muscling the ball.
On the right you see better right knee location, not tucked behind which tells us she was able to “squeeze” and use that lower half…resulting in a loose whip.
Proud of you, Layla Williams for working on the small things consistently
