Greeley Grays

The Grays family is saddened at the passing of two of their own, #2 Cash Rinker and #0 Cooper Nider.
Cash played with the Grays for six summers, from 13U to 18U. He was the backbone of the Grays 2025 team; a stalwart infielder, pitcher, and switch hitter. #2 was the longest-tenured player on the team. As a 14-year-old, Cash pitched and played the Grays to our first ever state championship in 2021. A fierce competitor, he was affectionately nicknamed “Sunshine” because of his golden flow. #2’s drive, sense of humor, and accountability made everyone around him better.
Cooper played with the Grays during the summer of 2025. he made an immediate impression after hitting multiple no-doubters during early games. He was a prolific defender; speed, instinct, and a cannon from the outfield. #0 outworked everyone and did it quietly; he was a shining example of hard work and humility. Coop was a quality young man with a million-dollar smile that brightened every dugout.
These young men’s character was evident to everyone they met – and a direct reflection of the families behind them. Cash and Coop left an indelible impression on our Grays family. Our hearts and payers go out to the Rinker, Nider, and Dirkson families, as well as everyone else whose lives were touched by these incredible young men. Our pain is temporary and we find joy in the fact we got to share a portion of these young men’s journeys. 30:5 &C

These boys battled hard all weekend, playing 5 games in the heat and leaving it all on the field. Their grit, teamwork, and determination paid off once again!

Congratulations to the Greeley Grays on bringing home another championship. Keep working, keep grinding, and keep getting 1% better every day.

Way to go, Grays! You showed what it truly means to dig deep and keep battling—coming back from 13–3 in the morning game to pull out the win and earn your spot in the championship. Then you went out there again, fought hard, and finished on top as champions. That’s heart, grit, and teamwork right there.

The Greeley Grays are Athletes for Autism tournament Champions! The girls fought hard and deserve the 1st Place BLING! Kamzee came away with an MVP ring too! So much fun to watch this group of girls and my favorite coaches learn and continue to get better and better! This one’s for Dawson! 💙🩶🥎

Greeley Grays would like to welcome Riley Gallu as the Assistant Coach for the Collegiate Greeley Grays! Coach Riley is a Fort Collins High School graduate (2000) who played at Otero Junior College (2000–2002) as an outfielder/pitcher, earning Distinguished Academic All-American honors, and at CMU (2002–2003) as a pitcher.

He has coached at Fort Collins High School (2004–2009), Rocky Mountain High School, West Los Angeles College, Otero Junior College, San Diego Mesa College, and in 2025 with the Grand Junction Jackalopes as outfield and mental skills coach.
