The Last Hurrah Race is next week November 6-8, 2026. Just got in the Podium backdrop and it looks fantastic, thank you Integrity. We are closed until 10am on Friday the 6th.

Here is the answer to a bunch of your questions about the race: Signups will be at the track in the hobbyshop, you must be signed up before practicing. Track will be run how we have done every other big race. Practice will start wet and then it will be allowed to dry out. Layout is the worlds layout with no changes. It’s challenging but rewarding. We will not be saving or reserve any pit, rv, pit trailer, or ezup spots. If you are wanting to save any of those spots for someone you are welcome to do so starting Thursday. There is no charge for any spots for this race, first come first serve. Signups are at the track, food will be available all days. RV’s and pit trailers must provide their own power. More details on all this below.

SCHEDULE:
Friday, November 6th - Practice from 10am to 8pm
Saturday November 7th - Practice 8am-8:45am(only for those that did not run an Friday)
Drivers Meeting at 9:00am
Qualifying at 9:30am
Sunday, November 8th - Mains at 9:00am(we lineup in qualifying order on the ramp for mains)

**Very Important: RV’s and Pit Trailers will need to provide your own power. No hookups available at the track. Fresh water is available to fill tanks but that is it. If you are caught plugging into track power to run an air conditioner or air compressor you will be asked to leave. RV and Pit Trailers locations are first come first serve. You must park in the grass, we have about 10 acres available for this so plenty of room. No fees for RV/pit trailer parking. Also no fees for camping.
If you like to use a heat gun to warm up your motor or tires please use a battery powered one. Heat guns that plug in will only be allowed at the nitro warmup tables. Best to get a battery powered one, they are very handy to have. Also no odor producing tire sauce is allowed in any pit spaces.

Lots of people keep asking about buying the track so here is more info about it. I have asked my longtime friend and financial advisor Dale Vannoy to take the lead with all inquiries and discussions about the track. If you have questions or know of someone interested in learning more please DM Dale Vannoy I really didn’t want to post this because I know how people can be but it does answer all the questions I keep getting. Also not selling because of money, selling because of health. Hopefully I won’t have to pull it down. -Chris Allison

Here it is, the last race. That is unless someone swoops in last minute and buys the place but that hasn’t happened so it will probably be the last at Thornhill. Track is closed until then. Hope to see everyone there.

Last chance to purchase award banquet tickets is before tomorrow(Friday) at noon. Drivers that are coming need to confirm that they are in the hobbyshop. We need to know how many will be attending so we know how much food to get.

Small update to the schedule for tomorrow. Ifmar rules state rounds 5 and 6 of qualifying start with race 13 and the original schedule was mistakenly starting on race 12. Here is the updated schedule:
