Smash Bros & Pokemon Unite finished their post-season this week. Pokemon Unite finished as a part of the top 16 out of 43. Smash Bros finished in the top 8 out of 155 in the state.

We're super proud of their accomplishments!

The Smash Bros season started with 155 teams. At the beginning of this week, the top 64 began competing for the Arkansas Regional Championship.

Today, William, Jacob & Kaemon set a new Blazer record as the first Smash Bros team to make it to the top 8 in the state! They will face El Dorado on Tuesday. Way to go guys!!

Smash Bros & Mario Kart both won their round of 32 playoffs matches! Smash Bros will play tomorrow, then Mario Kart & Pokemon Unite will compete next Monday at 4pm.

I'm excited to announce that 5 of our 6 high school teams are in the playoffs, which start this Monday. Playoffs is a Monday - Friday, two week period single elimination tournament. The number in front of the team name is their seeding.

Mario Kart is the only team that is playing for the state championship this season.

Last fall, our high school esports program ranked 23rd in the nation among the thousands of high schools that compete in PlayVS leagues. I'm proud to announce that Monday, the top 25 programs for the spring season were released and we're now ranked 12th!

I'm so proud of these players and all the time they have put in this season.

It's been a roller coaster of a season for several teams. When we get back from spring break, we'll have just one more week of the regular season for high school teams and then the playoffs will begin. Right now, most of the teams are in position to be in the playoffs tournament!!

Here's how we're looking compared to the number of teams in each league.

We are starting the new season tomorrow with practices Monday through Thursday 3:30 to 4:30.

We are looking for new team members for jr high and sr high teams, so please share this with anyone you think might be interested.

BIC’s Mario Kart team came to VV today for some pizza and to play our AR regional finals match. They gave us a good run for our money but we came out victorious! We should be getting that trophy next month. Great way to end the season!
