We loved welcoming members of the Arkansas State Rugby team to The Wellness Lab this week alongside Dr. Spencer Guinn and Veronica for private reformer training.

Reformer Pilates develops strength, stability, mobility, control, coordination, and body awareness in ways many athletes do not expect until they experience it firsthand.

At The Wellness Lab, our programming is rooted in kinesiology, biomechanics, and progressive strength principles designed to support how the body moves and performs as a whole. At 80 years old, she has spent the last 6 months consistently showing up for herself through reformer Pilates. Her commitment, positivity, and dedication are a reminder that caring for our bodies does not stop with age.

Strength is not about perfection. It’s about continuing to move, continuing to invest in your health, and continuing to believe your body is worth caring for.

Loved having Arkansas State basketball player Aly Tounkara and Ida Codjia in the studio this morning at The Wellness Lab.

As someone with a background in Exercise Science and Kiniesiology, I love showing athletes how reformer training can improve strength, control, mobility, balance, and body awareness in ways traditional training sometimes misses.

And yes… seeing a 7-footer on the reformer this morning may have been one of my favorite moments yet. 😂
