Wellspring Dance Academy Now enrolling! Dance classes ages 3 to Adult. We place value in training our students to be authentic, judgment-free, creative community members.

Wellspring Dance Academy, led by the professional company members of Wellspring/Cori Terry & Dancers, is the best of modern and contemporary dance education in Southwest Michigan. We promote organic, aesthetic movement with a non-competitive focus. Our students receive individualized attention in small classes while they build solid technique and repertoire. We value community, artistic expression, individual differences, and making dance accessible to all. For dancers and movement lovers of all experience levels, Workshops with Wellspring will begin OCTOBER 2026 ⭐

Workshops are an educational space for guests to express, share, and present around dance-related topics they are passionate about. 📖 Workshops may be in a master class, lecture and class, or presentation format.

Presenters will include company members, professional dance artists, community leaders, professors, and undergraduate or graduate students.

Workshops will cover various topics and genres, including but not limited to professional development, dance history and culture, codified techniques, and dance research.

Don't miss this special opportunity to work directly with Wellspring Artistic Director, Marisa Bianan, in Composition this season!

Composition focuses on articulating choreographic elements, such as concept, time, space, dynamics, and production. Participants will learn basic tools for choreography as well as how to apply improvisational movement to the creative process. ✨

Students will develop their OWN choreography that will premiere at the 2027 Academy Student Concert on April 25, 2027!
