Whether you grew up dancing, always wished you had or simply miss being in the studio, our Adult Ballet Program offers a place to begin again.

At Tye Chua Dance, we welcome adult dancers with joy and support, which is the foundation of Tye Chua's culture. Artistry, technique and the community of the studio can exist at every stage of life!

Summer Adult Ballet Classes:

🔆 Open Level Mornings: Monday - Thursday, 9:30-10:30am

🔆 Open Level Evenings: Monday & Wednesday, 6:00 - 7:00pm

🔆 Beginner Adult Ballet: Tuesday & Thursday, 5:00 - 6:00pm

🔆 Intermediate Adult Ballet: Tuesday & Thursday, 6:00 - 7:30pm

Looking for ballet training for your child this summer or fall?

Join us this Saturday, June 6 from 9:00–9:45 AM for New Student Day at Tye Chua Dance.

Students ages 6–14 will participate in a placement class while parents learn about our programs, class structure, performance opportunities, and school culture.

We have a few spots remaining and would love to meet families looking for serious training in a supportive, welcoming environment.

The end of the season is always bittersweet, and this year especially so. 🥲

Our dance family doubled in numbers this year but expanded exponentially in heart. So many wonderful memories were made and it's been a pleasure working with every single one of our dancers.

Today, however, is about these six dancers - Anna G, Anna S, Brooklyn, Claire, Lilla & Penelope - this year's graduates. 🎓

Anna S & Penelope have been Tye Chua Dancers since the beginning. We have watched them grow from small children into the amazing and unique humans they are. We will miss their energy, spirit (and even their eye rolls 🙄) around the studio!

Anna G, Claire & Lilla joined us full time just this past season. To say they were instrumental in the success of this season would be an understatement. Their maturity and leadership helped meld our new dancers with our existing students. Each one of these dancers brought with them their work ethic and their wit. Getting to know each of you has been a highlight of our year!

And Brooklyn! One of the hardest working, most dedicated dancers in the studios - your perseverance is inspiring!

We wish you all nothing but continued success as you head out into the world. Know you always have a home at Tye Chua Dance so don't be strangers!

Our Adult Dancers insisted and we caved! 😅 Two weeks of adult ballet classes will be available between semesters!

Fast Fact - Tye Chua Dance is the ONLY ballet school in the city with sprung floors! (And check out those windows, too 💅)

Here's why that matters:

🏥 Landing a jump exerts forces of 3.5 times your body weight on your joints. 😱 Sprung floors help absorb this impact, preventing pain, shin splints, stress fractures and trauma to the knees, ankles & hips.

⚡️Sprung floors flex and compress which aids in energy return and performance. Jump higher and with more confidence!

🫩 Rigid floors transfer all impact energy directly back into the body, increasing muscle & joint fatigue. Sprung floors allow you to dance safer and longer 💪

At Tye Chua Dance the safety of our dancers is always at the top of our priorities. That's why all three of our studios feature sprung floors topped with Marley dance surfaces. 💥

The cost of installing sprung floors may be steep, but it is nothing compared to the cost of potential injuries to our students and instructors!

We simply could not ask our dancers to train on unsafe, hard floors!

Tickets are still available online, and a limited number will be sold at the door before each show. We’ll also have flowers available for purchase at the theatre so you can celebrate your dancer after the performance. 💐
