What a fall for Dawgs Baseball 9U! 🔥⚾️

The boys wrapped up their season Sunday with another championship appearance. We came up short 7–4, playing one of our worst games of the season, but there is so much to celebrate about this squad and everything they accomplished!

🏆 4 tournament championships
🥈 3 runner-up finishes
💪 23–5 overall record
🎟️ Championship game appearances in all 7 tournaments!

When we built this team last spring in 8U, we challenged these boys with some of the toughest tournaments we could find. We focused on tightening up our defense, building good habits, and using practice to prepare for the jump to 9U. These boys embraced the challenge—and their hard work showed this fall!

Watching a new team grow into one of the top 9U teams in the state has been something special. Beyond the results, we’re proud of how they compete, play the game the right way, and play with passion and enthusiasm.

Proud of this fall. Excited for the spring. Keep building, Dawgs! 💙⚾️

Shoutout to #3 Knox Whitt for hitting his first kid pitch home-run in the championship game last night. This will be his first of many. Proud of you, Kid!

Dawgs got to sleep in! Both teams securing the #1 seed. Finish the job!

Congratulations to our 12U squad on earning their Major classification in Perfect Game! This has been a goal of ours for a long time, and these boys have worked hard to earn it.

It’s rewarding to see these boys get their flowers for the hard work, dedication, and quality of baseball they bring to the field every weekend.

Proud of this group! Keep earning it, Dawgs! ⚾️💪

Perfect Game Diamond Dual (Open) Runner up 🥈

Lost a tough one 5-4 to a team that got hot at the right time. Left too many runners in scoring position with less than 2 outs striking out 7 times. As one of the other coaches put it, some very selfish at bats trying to do too much and not adjusting to what the game calls for. That’s baseball though. We learn and we move on. Boys were on a 17 game winning streak prior to last nights game. They are now 27-5. Still proud of them!

Shoutout to our guy #32 Ivan Torres for bringing home the PG Diamond Dual MVP of the tournament. Ivan came up with huge hits all weekend long, and was also the top hitter of the tournament. Very deserving! Proud of you Ivan!

See you you on the other side of the red river ✌🏻

12U is back in Dallas this weekend at Station 63 for some Perfect Game action!

Baby Dawgs finished their league season tonight with a 21-4 victory and got some rings! I noticed a lot more gray hair throughout the season with Coach Drew, but that could’ve been that he’s 40 now! Great season boys.

Spooky Smash on Turf Runner up 🥈

After an incredible run all season, these boys finally got beat by another 9U squad in the championship. We ran into a very good Oklahoma Redbirds team that was well coached, disciplined, could swing it well, and played the game the right way. Tip of the cap to them. They were tough, gritty and took it to us in every phase of the game. That’s baseball though and we will learn from it and keep moving forward.

USSSA Brawl on the Turf 13U Champions 🏆

Dawgs 12U played up into 13U this weekend to experience the longer bases, longer pitching and see what the future holds. These boys will transition nicely. The starting pitching on Championship Sunday was one for the ages. I’ve been around baseball a long time and only experienced all 3 starting pitchers on Sunday throwing complete games one other time. Congrats to Isaac Crim, Hoyt Robison and Kaden Begley. Defense behind them was great, but they came up huge today on the mound. Shoutout to Coach Luis Castillo for calling a great 3 games on the bucket!
