A lot has changed since then, but one thing’s always stayed the same -- our passion for scuba diving. In the years that we’ve been here, we’ve grown to be the biggest dive shop on the island. You can rent everything you need to explore the ocean: snorkels, diving tanks, and even beach chairs and boogie boards. We also sell all the spearfishing gear you might need. Our crew can also take you out on a diving excursion to experience some of the best views in Hawaii. On the scuba visit to Ni'ihau, you even get to embark on some of the most pristine and dramatic diving in the area.

Kōloa Landing Update 🌊

These before and after videos keep getting better and better! We are still in amazement at how quickly the shore has transformed since the hurricane. A lot of people thought it would be months before the water entry was accessible again.

But here we are, almost a month to the day after Hurricane Lowell hit Kaua'i, and guess what? It is safe enough to use again! While there is still progress to be made and we always have to mind the weather conditions for safe entry and exit, we are beyond excited to get back in the water. We couldn't have done this without our local 'Ohana volunteers, our owner Marvin Otsuji, and Aaron. Aaron Hoff (excavator operator of the year in our book).

Please be mindful of the ongoing Coral Restoration taking place at Kōloa Landing. Ho'omalu Ke Kai and Kauai Ocean Awareness are hard at work! Please give them plenty of space so they can help our reef come back to life.
Want to get involved? If you'd like to volunteer to be a part of the Coral Restoration process, check out Ho‘omalu Ke Kai for the link to sign up for the next few days.

Friendly Reminder: As you jump back in, please remember not to touch the coral and be mindful of your fins and limbs! They are alive, incredibly fragile, and need our care now more than ever. 🪸

MAHALO NUI LOA, KAUA'I 'OHANA! 🌺🙌

Kōloa Landing Clean Up 💙

Another clean up is happening this Saturday, tomorrow, at Kōloa Landing at 8am for anyone that would like to help move some boulders! The entrance/exit is so close to being safe enough to use again! We are beyond excited to get back in the water with our 'Ohana! 🌊

We need volunteers ready for heavy lifting and boulder clearing around the entrance/exit path. We are also planning to fill in the holes of the road. We will wrap up around noon.

However, the day isn't over yet! Coral Restoration efforts will begin right after. Please check out Ho‘omalu Ke Kai page. They have a link in their bio to RSVP for specific days and times.

We seriously could not have done this without our incredible community. We are so grateful for everyone that has dedicated their time and hard work to make this happen. MAHALO NUI LOA

Also another shoutout to Aaron for spending so much time helping out with his excavator! It would have taken so much longer without his efforts!

Progress Update 🚨 Kōloa Landing after Hurricane Lowell

We wanted to share some encouraging news about our underwater progress!

We are teaming up with our 'Ohana—Hoʻomalu Ke Kai and Kaua'i Ocean Awareness—to kick-start ocean conservation efforts right here at Kōloa Landing. They’ve recently received the green light to begin the critical work of reattaching and planting coral in this zone. We are honored to walk alongside them as we continue caring for our ocean together.

If you would like to help above water, Seasport Divers has a GoFundMe page active to help us restore our facilities and operations topside. If your heart is set on directly supporting marine restoration, we’ve linked the specific non-profit pages for Hoʻomalu Ke Kai and Kauai Ocean Awareness right inside our GoFundMe bio link!
None of this recovery is possible without the resilience of our community. 🤙🏽 Stay tuned—we’ll be posting dates and times soon for limited community volunteer spots as our three crews join forces for upcoming ocean conservation days.

Before we open our next community day, we will hold a traditional blessing to honor and protect the cultural significance of the ʻāina. Our ultimate shared goal is to get this beloved site safely back open for our community and ocean family to enjoy.

Mahalo for standing strong with us, Kaua'i! 🌴💙

POV: You dedicated your Saturday morning to give back to our āina💙

We are still completely speechless by the turnout. Watching our community show up to help restore the harbor we all love means everything to us.

To show our gratitude, we’ve teamed up with amazing local shops and vendors to hook our volunteers up with exclusive discounts and gifts as a small mahalo for their hard work!

We’ve also received so many questions about how people can support these cleanups. Because of that, we’ve officially launched a GoFundMe page. Every contribution goes straight toward putting more resources into our ongoing recovery efforts following the impacts of Hurricane Lowell.

Over the weekend, our community rolled up their sleeves for a clean-up at the Kukuʻiula Small Boat Harbor. We are simply blown away by the dedication of our local ʻohana. 💙

While so many helped out, we wanted to make a specific post to give a shoutout to Aaron and his voluntary efforts. He stepped up to help transform the dock road at Kukuʻiula Harbor—and if that wasn't enough, he also pitched in at our recent Koloa Landing clean-up!

🚨Kukuiʻula Small Boat Harbor Clean Up! 🌊🥽

Kukuiʻula isn’t just the dock where we launch our daily charters—it’s the heartbeat of our south shore community, a local gathering spot, and a place where so many Kauai memories are made.
The harbor needs our love now more than ever! While our commercial boats are temporarily grounded, we’re taking this moment to bring everyone together and take care of the place that takes care of us.

Please join us this Saturday @ 9:00 AM @ the Kukuiʻula Small Boat Harbor!

We will be removing debris, clearing rocks, and cleaning the harbor bathrooms. Bring closed-toe shoes, gloves, water, and tools!

Underwater Crew (Divers): we are asking for Advanced Divers only. There is swell and rain expected causing limited visibility. You MUST HAVE A DIVE BUDDY if you are wanting to help underwater. We’re offering 50% OFF the PADI Dive Against Debris Specialty Certification for anyone who wants to level up their eco-diving skills for this and future cleanups!

Mahalo Nui Loa From Seasport Divers:
We’re taking down names of everyone who shows up to lend a hand! Volunteers will receive discounts for local shops and restaurants, plus special discounts on apparel/gear back at our shop.
Let's make Kukuiʻula shine again—see you Saturday! 🤙

This is why we love our Ohana so much! Community is everything. We are incredibly grateful for the local volunteers who showed up today to clean up the Kōloa Landing shore site. Seeing everyone come together to restore our ʻāina is powerful.

The progress is beautiful, but we still have a way to go before conditions are safe enough to take our customers back out diving.

Please keep Kauaʻi in your thoughts. Parts of the North Shore are still without power, and the rebuilding process is just beginning. With aloha we will get back in the water together soon. Mahalo Nui Loa to the community and your continued support! 🤙🏽

🚨 Koloa Landing Shore Cleanup Tomorrow!
Calling all divers, ocean lovers, and community members! Koloa Landing looks very different after the hurricane, and we need your help to bring it back to life.

We are meeting tomorrow at 9:00 AM (or whenever you can make it!) Please bring gloves, closed-toe shoes, water, and any cleanup tools you have.

There will be heavy machinery operating to clear the large boulders. There is still plenty of lighter debris to clear, but please give the equipment operators plenty of space and stay alert!

Let’s come together to take care of the place that gives us so many incredible dives. See you out there! 💙

First and foremost, our hearts are with our incredible Kauai ohana. We hope all of our local community, friends, and families are staying safe in the wake of Hurricane Lowell. Mahalo Nui Koa to everyone out there spending countless hours to help.💙
Kauai is resilient, and our kaiaulu (community) is incredibly strong. We know that by working together with aloha our island will heal and rebuild.
Due to the widespread storm damage, power outages, and ocean conditions across the island, we must pause all diving operations to focus on safety and recovery. We will be closed and canceling all dive charters for at least the next 2-3 weeks.
Our crew is awaiting clearer, safer waters. If you have an upcoming reservation within the next 14 days, our team will be reaching out to you directly via email or phone to process refunds and help you reschedule.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. We can’t wait to get back into the ocean and share the beauty of our waters with you again soon. Kākou—together, we've got this.
