Afterwards we will be having a fun celebration at the house to celebrate Phi Mu!! Don’t forget your Pennies and we can’t wait to see you there!!!

We are so excited to share that we will be hosting our 2026 Founder's Day Celebration on Saturday, February 28th and would love for you to join us to celebrate 174 years of Love, Honor, and Truth!

We will have our ritual event at the LaGrange College Chapel beginning at 10:00 followed directly by an open house celebration at the Kappa Phi house.

Please RSVP by Wednesday, February 25th.

Hey Alumnae!!! As a Phi Mu, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals are so important to us, and representing them is one of the many ways we love to show them that we support them! Kappa Phi is looking into ordering these shirts, but we do not meet the minimum number of orders to get them! They will be around $15-$20. We wanted to reach out to our alumnae to see if anyone was interested in representing our philanthropy that we have all been so lucky to be a part of! We wouldn’t be where we are today without you guys! Feel free to send us a message or comment if you would want one!

Our very own Emily Joy McCarthy will be honored by LaGrange College during Homecoming weekend during the Alumni Awards luncheon on Friday, October 17 at noon in the Dickson Assembly Room of Turner Hall!

"Emily Joy Thigpen McCarthy ’04 received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and Photography from LaGrange College.

She is the Chief Executive Officer and Creative Director for her eponymous fashion brand Emily McCarthy, founded in 2007 in Savannah, Georgia. Originally focused on stationery and home décor items, the company expanded into women’s clothing in 2019. Since that time, it has grown to an eight-figure business with 400+ retailer locations.

McCarthy has served as a keynote speaker for the University of Georgia’s SBDC Women’s Summit and Club Car Championship’s Executive Women’s Day event. She also received the honor of being named the Junior League Savannah Volunteer of the Year.

In the community, McCarthy has served on Leadership Savannah and Blessed Sacrament School Board and volunteers with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Dress for Success, Union Mission, PACK Savannah, Buy Local, Parker’s House and Tharros Place. She also serves as a mentor for The Southern Coterie for other women in business.

She and her husband, Patrick ’04, have two children, Rhett and Lillian."
