⚾ HELP US BUILD THE FUTURE OF LAKELAND HIGHLANDS BASEBALL! ⚾

Great baseball programs are built by great communities, and we need YOUR help!

Lakeland Highlands Babe Ruth Baseball (LHBRB) holds our monthly Board Meetings on the first Wednesday of every month, and we are looking for passionate, dedicated individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of our young athletes!

We are actively looking to expand our volunteer base and welcome individuals interested in helping us grow in three important areas:

⚾ Player Development – Helping our young athletes build skills, confidence, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love for baseball.

🛠️ Facilities & Field Maintenance – Keeping our park safe, beautiful, and ready for our players and families.

🤝 Community Engagement – Building stronger relationships with local families, businesses, sponsors, and community partners.

You don’t have to be a baseball expert to make a difference! Whether you have a few hours to give or want to take on a larger role, your time, talents, and ideas can help shape the future of our league.

📅 NEXT BOARD MEETING

Our league is more than just baseball. It’s about building friendships, developing young people, and creating a community that our families are proud to be part of.

💙⚾ Together, we can make Lakeland Highlands Baseball even better for generations to come!

We hope to see you November 4th!

⚾🔥 HOME RUN ALERT! 🔥⚾

Let’s give a HUGE shoutout to Bryce Wilson of the Bulls – Prep Division! 🐂💪

On October 19th, Bryce stepped up to the plate and delivered a 2-RUN HOME RUN against the Skycarp! 💣⚾

Way to swing the bat, Bryce! Keep working hard, making memories, and knocking them out of the park!

👏 Congratulations, Bryce!

Please join us in standing in solidarity with the students, parents, faculty, and entire Winter Haven High School community.

The bus accident that occurred yesterday was a heartbreaking tragedy, and our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected. During this incredibly difficult time, we want our friends and neighbors at Winter Haven High School to know that they are not alone.

From all of us at Lakeland Highlands Baseball, we stand with you and offer our heartfelt support, strength, and prayers to everyone impacted. ❤️

We Stand With Winter Haven High School and the families of all involved!

Congratulations to Mr. Sammy Randazzo, in our Majors division, for sending one over the fence last night with bases loaded! Sammy plays for the MudHens but was a pick up for the Yard Goats in yesterday's game. Keep up the hard work young man! 💪 ⚾️

⚾️ GREAT START FOR OUR THUNDERBIRDS! ⚾️

A huge shoutout to our 6U and 8U Lakeland Highlands Thunderbirds Advanced Baseball teams as they kicked off their Fall season today! 🦅⚾️

Both teams battled hard and finished the day 1–1, earning their first wins of the season! More importantly, our players competed, had fun, and represented Lakeland Highlands well.

We’re proud of these young ballplayers and their coaches and can’t wait to watch them continue to develop throughout the season.

🚨 Our newest park acquisition! 🚨

We’re excited to introduce our John Deere Gator 6x6 Diesel, 100% fully funded through sponsorships and donations!

This Gator will give our volunteers a much more efficient way to handle field preparation, park maintenance, equipment transport, and everyday operations throughout the season.

More importantly, this is a great example of where your sponsorship dollars go. Support from local businesses, families, and community partners allows us to continue improving our facility while helping us keep registration costs affordable, maintain a safe park, and provide the best experience possible for our players, families, and fans.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this acquisition possible:

⭐ Polk County Sheriff’s Office Charities
⭐ Averett Septic Tanks
⭐ Highland City Motorworks
⭐ David M. Allen Services
⭐ Martin/Myers Family
⭐ Brad Babicz & Family
⭐ Jamie Herkel & Family
⭐ Scott Vandervort & Family

We are always looking for new sponsors who want to support youth baseball while investing directly back into our community. Every sponsorship makes a difference, and improvements like this wouldn’t be possible without you.

Thank you for investing in our park and, most importantly, our players! ⚾
