🏒🔥 THE KNIGHTS ARE BACK! 🔥🏒

After graduating 8 seniors last season, the Knights Varsity team hit the ice last night in a non-league scrimmage with a new-look roster and opened the 2026–2027 season with a 5–4 win over Owen J. Roberts!

It was a back-and-forth battle from start to finish. Declan Leahy got the Knights on the board early, assisted by Sam Norton and Izzy Cabrales. With just 35 seconds left in the 1st, Gavin Lombardi delivered the perfect pass on Nolan Little’s tape. He took the pass in stride, put the puck through the defenseman’s legs and finished with a beautiful touch past the OJR goaltender. WHAT. A. GOAL.🔥

The Knights kept battling in the 2nd, with goals from Sam Norton and Izzy Cabrales to keep the game moving. OJR answered with two quick goals to tie it at 4–4 heading into the third. Then, just 1:30 into the 3rd, Sam Norton came through again, assisted by Declan Leahy and Izzy Cabrales, giving North Penn the lead for good! 💪 In net, Aidan Quigley was solid, facing 20 shots and making 16 saves to help secure the win! 🧱🥅 A great start for the team that showed plenty of grit, confidence and fight. The tone has officially been set for the season ahead. 🔥
