Where is the money from your hard-earned efforts with stage-driven visibility actually disappearing to?
If you have been showing up on stages, podcasts, and live streams and still walking away with no new clients, you are most likely missing one thing... a clear stage strategy.
Every time you share your expertise without the right call to action or the right room, you leave real growth on the table. It is time to stop speaking for exposure and start making every yes count.
On Thursday, August 20th, I am partnering with The Kingdom Collective to teach a hands-on workshop: Get Strategic. Get Paid. The 3 Stages Every Business Owner Needs.
Here is what we will map together...
✔️ The 3 stage types. Visibility, authority, and owned stages, and the distinct job each one does for your revenue.
✔️ CTA alignment. Match the right call to action to the right stage so saying yes to working with you feels like the natural next step.
✔️ The stage audit & strategy map. Pinpoint the hidden gaps costing you growth and build a stage strategy aligned to your actual goals.
This is a build session. You leave with something you can use immediately.

🤷♀️"How do I turn VISIBILITY into actual sales conversations?"
You know content matters.
But you're still struggling to get people to reach out about your services.
Here's what most coaches & service providers don't realize:
Content's job isn't just to educate.
The goal of content is to create conversations.
And that's the piece many business owners are missing.
That's why I wanted to share a free class & action plan from Business Coach & Marketing Strategist Hailey Rowe:
👉 The 5 Posts to Book Your Next 10 Discovery Calls 👈
Inside the training, Hailey breaks down:
✔️ The 5 types of posts that actually lead to discovery calls, email subscribers, and sales inquiries
✔️ A simple 3-step framework to turn your content into conversations
✔️ How to transition naturally into your offer without sounding awkward or salesy
✔️ The surprising reason why engagement is not the metric you should be obsessing over & what you should be doing instead
So if you've been building visibility but want more leads, conversations, and sales opportunities from your content...
I think you'll enjoy this one.

Getting on more stages is not the strategy.
For over twenty years, I sat on the other side of the stage, watching which speakers got the mic (and which ones didn't.)
Here is what nobody tells you...
The speakers who booked the most stages were rarely the ones making the most money from them.
More stages feel like progress. It looks like momentum. Your calendar fills, your name gets around, people clap. And then you walk off, check your inbox, and... nothing. No calls booked. No new clients. Just a warm glow and a quiet Stripe account.
Because a stage is not a strategy. A stage is a doorway. What happens on the other side of it, the offer, the call to action, the follow-up, the room you chose in the first place, that is the strategy.
Most experts I meet are not under-visible. They are gloriously, exhaustingly visible. They are leaking revenue somewhere between the applause and the close.
So before you say yes to one more stage, ask a better question. Not how do I get on more stages, but is the stage-driven visibility I already have actually converting?
That is the whole game.
Comment ASSESS and I will send you the details on the free Stage-Driven Visibility Assessment. Forty-five minutes, and we find exactly where your effort is leaking before it becomes revenue.

Got an email this weekend that was built to scare me. 😤
The gist: "If you're not famous or doing corporate speaking, you're not making money as a speaker in 2026. The market for the rest of you is shrinking."
Cute. Except it didn't ring true.
So I did what I do... I went and pulled the ACTUAL industry data. More than a million verified audience responses worth.
And y'all. The numbers don't support the claim.
That "non-famous" middle tier they were writing off? That's the part of the market that's actually growing. Fame isn't the thing moving your fee. Something else is... and it's fully in your control.
And this one stat alone made me set my sweet tea down:
52% of keynote-only speakers have ZERO repeat bookings.
The ones doing it differently? 27% had zero repeat bookings.
The gap? Well, it has nothing to do with luck and everything to do with your strategy. And I see too many speakers standing on the wrong side of it.
I'm breaking the whole thing down for my email subscribers on Thursday... the real data, the scare tactics to scroll right past, and the two shifts that actually move you into the paid lane. (Neither one is "get famous.")
The receipts don't fit in a post. They fit in your inbox. 💌
Comment RECEIPTS and I'll DM you the link to get on the list.

So this month's newsletter had strategy, southern sass... and a Front Porch banana puddin' recipe. 🍮
Oh yeah... You read that right.
Because who says you can't build your stage-driven visibility AND walk away with the dessert everybody asks you to bring next time?
The Phoenix Effect dropped on Wednesday. Here's what landed in inboxes...
🏎️ Why summer might be the best visibility window you've got all year... including one reason straight from my 20+ years on the other side of the stage

🦥 Ellie the Sloth is siding with an ant. 🐜 I know. She had her reasons.

🍮 And that puddin'. No oven. Because it's July, y'all.

Confession time...
Years ago, I trained for a full marathon while working two jobs.
I did not have time for that, ya'll. Not even a little bit...🤣
You know how I got it done? I created a plan. I scheduled it. It was on the calendar. So I laced up... 5 am runs, sore everything, the works. I made it happen...with consistency and a clear plan.
Here's what those months taught me: when it's on the calendar, we do the thing. Every. Time.
And your stage-driven visibility works the same way. The outreach. The follow-up. That pitch you keep promising you'll "get to someday." 👀
None of it happens by accident. Give it a real spot on your calendar... blocked like a client call, protected like a doctor's appointment. Something you'd never dream of skipping.
The speakers with the most success have one thing in common: consistency. Not a one-day I'll do it wish with no plan... But having a clear plan and strategy to support them in saying...Today I did it.
(Full transparency... I just started PT, and I'm itching to get back to running. So guess what's on my calendar this week? Feel free to hold me to it. 😅)
So here's your friendly nudge from your favorite speaker strategist: give your stage-driven visibility a real spot on the calendar this week.
And if you need help figuring out the WHEN...The full "When" lesson lives inside my mini-course, Strategic Stage-Driven Visibility That Converts. Link in the comments. 💜

🔥 My 2 Cents:
Everybody thinks summer is the worst time to pitch a stage. Well, I spent 20+ years as a meeting planner. Let me show why in many cases that's just not true...
In the FALL, my inbox was a war zone. Fires everywhere. Vendors, registration, and the room block I'd already redone...twice. Your beautiful pitch email landed in that mess and vanished.
Not because it was bad. Because I never saw it. 👀
In the summer? Fewer meetings. Fewer fires. Actual margin in my day. I had time to READ your email. Time to click your link. Time to think... "huh, this could work..."
The exact thing you think makes summer a bad time to reach out is the thing that makes it the best time. 🎯Because your email finally has room to breathe.
📬 That's ONE of three reasons a FULL THROTTLE summer may be your best summer strategy in this month's Phoenix Effect newsletter. The other two are the ones speakers regret ignoring.
Newsletter drops on Wednesday. Link in comments. You want to be on the list. If I do say so myself...and I do. 😉

There are two kinds of summers happening right now. 👀
Full Throttle Summer 🏎️
Fall calendar in one hand. Pitch list in the other. No sleep till the applications are in. You're not slowing down for anybody.
Sweet Tea Summer 🍹
Kids are home. Pool is calling. Cookout every weekend. Zero apologies, and you shouldn't offer any.
Here's what I need y'all to hear... Both are right. ✅
Different seasons of life call for different strategies. The speaker who knows which season they're actually IN is the one who wins.
What'll wreck you is drifting between lanes... never fully working, never fully resting, just idling all summer and burning fuel to go nowhere.
So which lane are you in?
Drop your lane in the comments. 🏎️ or 🍹
📬 And The Phoenix Effect newsletter drops next Wednesday. I'm sharing with you exactly what to DO in your lane... plus three reasons summer might be the best visibility window you've got all year.

My two cents...
You don't need more stages. You need better ones.
I know that's not what the 'just get visible' crowd is saying.
But as a meeting planner for over 20 years, I'm here to tell you that more visibility isn't the goal.
Strategic visibility. That's the goal.
Say yes to the rooms that move your business forward. Get strategic about what 'forward' actually means for you.
That is all. 🔥
What's a stage you said yes to lately that you wish you could take back? Drop it in the comments. We've all got at least one... (yes, including me)
