Davidson County Post 8 American Legion Baseball is out here volunteering at the Pepsi Tent at the Amphitheater! 🥤⚾️

We are so thankful to the City of Lexington - Government for allowing us to be part of such a wonderful community tradition! We love any opportunity to support the community that continues to support us!

Saturday is the final day at this year Davidson County Fair. It’s been an amazing opportunity for to have been able to setup this selling sweet treats and candy and drinks. We hope everyone stops by today and gets them something to eat, are to take home with you. Please remember all this is for your Davidson County American Legion Post 8 Baseball Team. With are motto of “Getting young men ready for the next Level”

The tickets are officially in hand! 🎟️🐗

We are giving away a beautiful R***r M77 Mark II (7mm Rem Mag), which also includes a box of Hornady American Whitetail ammo. At just $20 a ticket—and with ONLY 300 tickets available—the odds are heavily in your favor, but they are going to sell out fast.

The winning ticket will be drawn on November 14th at the Post 8 Annual Golf Tournament. You do NOT need to be present to win!

For the second consecutive day, fair has decided to close due to weather and parking conditions in the parking lot with all the mud in the rain we hope to see you Friday come by and see us get you some sweets to eat or take home with you. help support Post 8 Baseball here in Davison County⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️

Due to the recent heavy rainfall, muddy conditions in the parking and walking areas, and additional rain forecasted for Thursday morning, Senior Day at the Davidson County Fair, scheduled for Thursday, September 24, has been cancelled.

While we are disappointed, the safety of our older adults, volunteers, staff, and community partners is our top priority.

We appreciate everyone who planned to join us and all our community partners who worked to make Senior Day special. Thank you for your understanding, and please help us spread the word.
