💙🖤🤍 Prodigy Fastpitch Supports Sandhills’ Leadership

We want to recognize Sandhills for taking a strong and much‑needed stance to protect the integrity of youth sports. Their decision to delay tryouts until after the current season ends is a meaningful step toward fixing a process that has drifted too far from what’s best for our athletes.

Early tryouts disrupt team focus, chemistry, and the experience our players work so hard for. When organizations move tryouts earlier and earlier, it pulls attention away from finishing the season with pride, commitment, and unity.

At Prodigy Fastpitch, we believe our athletes deserve better.

As an organization, we will be asking all Prodigy teams to wait until their current season is fully completed before hosting any tryouts.
This keeps the focus where it belongs — on the athletes, their development, and the team they are part of right now.

To every organization, coach, parent, and athlete:

Prodigy 13U Harper came home with 3rd place in the 14U Open Faith in Fastpitch Tournament in Brighton, Colorado. These girls went 4-1, outscoring opponents 43-9, but bats went cold at the wrong time. They will take a couple weeks off before Odd Age State in Omaha.
