Do you want to learn more about turkey hunting? This Learn to Hunt workshop will cover turkey calling, setting decoys, strategies, and so much more.
The workshop will be held on March 17th from 6:30-8:30 pm at Fonner Park, Grand Island. Master Hunter Education Instructor Darryl Parde, who is an avid turkey hunter and teacher of new hunters, will be teaching the course.

Staying burrowed for another six weeks of winter isn't the way to go! Still plenty of things to do outside in February:
◾ Nebraska Muzzle Loading Rifle Association - Grand Island Winter Shoot near Cairo - February 14 & 15
◾ Pony Express Ramrodders Winter Walk In Shoot (see United Nebraska Muzzleloaders Assoc.) near Cozad - February 21 & 22
◾ Cottontail and jackrabbit seasons close February 28
◾ Trap only seasons for river otter & hunt/trap seasons for badger, mink, long-tailed weasel, bobcat, raccoon, Virginia opossum, red fox, and gray fox close February 28
