HOMEGROWN GAMEDAY

After a full slate of MLS NEXT league games yesterday, five of our Homegrown teams are right back at it today, heading to the Mercy Health Training Center and Milford High school to take on FC Cincinnati Academy.

A quick turnaround and another big challenge, but these are exactly the opportunities we want for our players. Going head-to-head with an MLS Academy in their own environment and testing ourselves against some of the best young players in the region.

A full day of MLS NEXT action and another important opportunity to compete, build momentum, and come home with points.

WOLVES GIRLS ON THE RUN!

A little different kind of competition for four of our U13 Girls this past weekend as they traded the soccer field for the Blake’s 5K!

All four put together fantastic runs, with every one of them finishing inside the Top 5 of the 1 to 19 age group, including Eileen who took home 1st place!

Love seeing our players competing, pushing themselves and spending time together away from the field too.

Congratulations, girls!

HOMEGROWN GAMEWEEK | CINCINNATI

Our MLS NEXT Homegrown teams are back on the road this weekend as we head to Cincinnati for a big double-header.

Saturday sees the Wolves take on Cincinnati United Premier, before another opportunity to test ourselves against MLS Academy opposition on Sunday as our **U13, U14, U16, U17 & U19** teams face FC Cincinnati Academy.

Back-to-back days against two quality programs and exactly the type of weekend we want for our players. Meaningful MLS NEXT competition followed by the opportunity to go head-to-head with one of the top professional academies in the country.

MLS WEEKEND RECAP
A strong day on the road for our MLS NEXT Homegrown teams against an always tough Indy Eleven.

The Wolves came away with four wins from six, with the U14s, U15s, U16s, and U17s all picking up victories at Grand Park. Three clean sheets across the age groups made it an especially solid defensive showing.

Plenty of positives, plenty to keep working on. Thanks to Indy Eleven for hosting and for a competitive day across all six age groups.

WHAT. A. COMEBACK!!
Down 4-1 at halftime, our 2015 U12 Girls came back to tie their first league game of the season 5-5. Four second-half goals turned a three-goal deficit into a 5-5 draw against Jags United U12 Green, a brilliant response from the entire group and a great example of refusing to quit when things aren’t going your way.
