While Jiu Jitsu matches may end on the ground, they all start on the feet. The training program at Califa Jiu Jitsu encompasses all grappling scenarios situations, including the standing position. While most academies may pay lip service to standing grappling skills through cooperative drills, Califa emphasizes focused, live work from the standing position to develop applicable skills.
