🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

The Gridiron C.R.I.B. is excited to announce that our inaugural NFL FLAG season is transitioning into a Saturday Night “Under the Lights” Fall Format!

What started as our summer launch has grown into something even bigger. With the support of new partners, including our connection with the Indianapolis Colts through the NFL FLAG Club Network, we believe this fall format will create an even better experience for our athletes, families, and community.

This fall season will allow us to create a more exciting game day atmosphere, but more importantly, provide families more time to access available grant and participation opportunities.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission has always been bigger than football. We are committed to building a league centered on access, development, community, and opportunity for athletes across Louisville and the surrounding areas.

Registration will open next week, and full season details will be posted at that time.

📣 Hot off the press from the Indianapolis Colts:

The Indianapolis Colts have officially announced the addition of The Gridiron C.R.I.B. Flag Football League to Colts Flag Football Leagues, presented by Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.

This is a major opportunity for athletes in Louisville, Southern Indiana, and surrounding areas. Through the Colts Flag Football Leagues, players and families can gain access to special Colts opportunities, including memorabilia giveaways, Training Camp activities, athlete clinics, coaching and officiating clinics, VIP events, and other experiences at no cost to families.

Scholarships for participation also are available from the Colts Flag Scholarship Fund, which helps reduce financial barriers to participation for young athletes. 🫶🏼

This is more than registration. This is access, development, community, and a chance for young athletes to be part of something bigger.

Girls high school flag remains one of the fastest growing sports around the U.S. with participation increasing by 60 percent between the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years.

The Big 12 Conference is officially interested in formally sponsoring women’s flag football. The sport could launch in 2028, with at least six teams participating. Flag football has grown 60% year-over-year at the high school level, so the demand is growing!
