Targeting:
Turn Out

Foundations for Optimal Rotation

The Kineto-Flex module is designed for dancers to enhance turnout, a crucial aspect of ballet and jazz that improves movement aesthetics, alignment, balance, and technique.

Turnout involves a complex interplay between muscular strength, joint flexibility, and precise control. Many dancers struggle with turnout by only focusing on external rotation, overlooking the essential anatomical and biomechanical principles.

🔹Warm-up and Mobility Work: Gentle exercises to prepare your body for more intense work, focusing on mobilizing the hips, knees, and ankles.
🔹Strength Training: Exercises to build the muscles that support and enable turnout, including the glutes and deep hip rotators.
🔹Flexibility Training: Stretches and flexibility drills to improve the range of motion in your hips and ensure that your muscles can sustain a wider turnout.

This fall: Ultimate Flexibility Course

When:
Mondays, 8-8:30pm | Aug 31- Oct 12, or
Tuesdays, 9:30-10am | Sept 8 - Oct 13, or
Wednesdays, 6:30-7pm | Sept 2 - Oct 7

Targeting:
Hip Mobility: freeing your deep rotators and hip capsule so your turnout and splits feel open without forcing.
Pancaking: improving adductor glide and spinal flexion through active engagement.
Front Split: balancing hip extension and hamstring length on both sides. Middle Split: developing lateral strength and deep pelvic stability.

The Kineto-Flex module will train, not only your muscles, but also your nervous system. You’ll use techniques like nerve flossing, isometric holds, and contract–relax activation to help your brain release protective tension. That’s how you'll achieve long-term flexibility, through trust, not force.
