Hearts of Men Showcase — Come See Me Dance!

Hi everyone! My name is Isaac Zellner, and I’m so excited and honored to invite you to a very special show that I’ll be performing in!

This past week, I had the incredible opportunity to be a part of a powerful movement, encounter, and experience called HEARTS OF MEN, under the direction of Earl Mosley and Co-Directors Robert & Freddie Moore, who personally invited me to be a part of this amazing opportunity in collaboration with the Alvin Ailey family.
I’ll be performing excerpts including “Grace” by Ronald K. Brown and “Sacred Songs” by Matthew Rushing, who personally came in to choreograph and teach us these incredible works. We will also be presenting other powerful pieces, including work by Ian DaSilva.
This experience has been life-changing. Not only have I had the privilege of working alongside world-renowned choreographers and teachers such as Patrick Coker, Bakary Fall, Ron Alexander, Darell Moultrie, and Ian DaSilva, but I’ve also experienced something much deeper.
Hearts of Men has created a safe haven for men—young and old, from different ethnicities, backgrounds, experiences, and skill levels—to come together through our shared passion for dance.
A place where we can be:
FREE. VULNERABLE. UNIQUE. WILLING. EMOTIONAL. CREATIVE. ACCESSIBLE. ACCEPTING.
And most importantly, BROTHERS. ❤️
I intentionally don’t use the word community because sometimes competition can find its way into a community. But what I’ve experienced through Hearts of Men is different.
This is BROTHERHOOD—a bond that can last a lifetime.
And now, I’m excited to share the stage with my brothers and bring this experience to you through movement!
