It's time for our final senior celebration of 2026... (I'm not crying - you're crying!) This group of seniors has meant so much to our team, and we will miss them all so much! Last but not least, let's take some time to congratulate Addison Lucas!
Addison discovered her love for swimming when she jumped into the pool during her first swim team practice at age 5! After swimming for the Charter Colony Crimson Crocs for 2 years, Addison joined the Hallsley High Tides during their inaugural swim season and has been a part of the team for the last 12 years.
Addison attended Collegiate where she recently graduated Cum Laude and was Co-Chair of the Service Council, President of the French Club and TEACH, a club that encourages younger students to abstain from drug and alcohol use during high school. Addison was a four year member of Collegiate's Swim Team which won the State Title all four years she was there and she swam for NOVA's year round swim club for the past 3 years. Addison has loved serving Hallsley as a previous lifeguard, Assistant Swim Coach and CIT for the High Tides and now serves as Head Manager for Charter Colony's staff of 25 lifeguards.
Swimming for Hallsley is one of the things that Addison will miss most as she heads to Baylor University in Texas where she has been named a Getterman Scholar. Addison will be studying Biology and French on the pre-med track in Baylor's Honors College and hopes to one day serve the geriatric population through a career in medicine.
She is so grateful for the friendships and life lessons learned on our swim team and will miss it dearly!
Addison, we are so proud of you, and we know the future is bright! Thank you for all you have done for the High Tides. 🖤💛
