Tiny but mighty! 4 weeks of hard work and now this precious 1-year-old can survival float and rescue himself in a water emergency. Swim safety is non-negotiable, and his parents knowing this wanted a baby who was prepared for the unexpected. Congratulations little guy!

As many of you know, I’m honored to be the trusted provider for local families affected by drowning incidents. Some end in loss, where I teach surviving siblings, while others have happier outcomes, allowing me to teach survivors and their siblings. These families often arrive with heavy emotional wounds, and our work is about more than swimming—it’s a journey of healing, trust, and courage.

Each child I teach has a precious second chance, and I take this responsibility seriously. I’m grateful every day to help them overcome fear, embrace the water, and learn to navigate it safely.

Recently, I partnered with First 5 Riverside County to share the story of one incredible family who received scholarships through our collaboration. Together, we celebrate their journey and highlight how important it is to protect children from drowning—because accidents can happen to anyone, even the best parents.

Today’s special off day/offsite graduation was a shining moment to celebrate this little one's incredible skills! At just 2 years old, she confidently jumped into her home pool and swam all the way across on her back—just like she does here at Lifesaver Aquatics. With Mom and Dad joyfully watching from within the water, she truly showcased her survival swimming abilities that bring peace of mind to her family. Congratulations to our little lifesaver! We’re thrilled to have welcomed the Riverside County Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) and First 5 Riverside County to our facility! It was an absolute honor to host your teams and share the powerful impact of our collaborative efforts in action.

This visit truly showcased our shared commitment to community service and drowning prevention. Together, through our strong partnership, we are dedicated to providing critical, life-saving survival swim lessons to children aged 5 and under across Riverside County.

At Lifesaver Aquatics, First 5 Riverside County, and DCSS are working hand-in-hand to make our local waters safer—one child at a time.

Thank you for your ongoing support, advocacy, and steadfast dedication to protecting our youngest swimmers and empowering families with essential water safety skills!

From a near-tragedy to floating past the dark side. Four short weeks ago, this little fighter faced a drowning incident. Today, he conquered the water in full Darth Vader gear, swimming the entire length of the pool completely effortlessly. Fear turned into pure survival skill. , , ,
