15" Seat, Swell fork, simi-qtr bars.
Regular horn. I have gone through this saddle, repaired rigging, was not ripped through. New latigos, new saddle strings. Wool skirt liner is in good shape, stirrups, rear billets and rear cinch are original equipment. No breast collar.. Breast collar can be stamped to match if needed.
Circa 1968 build when dad was in Elbert Colo, just down the road form the Monte Foreman ranch.

I have been asked about the patina or green stuff on copper rivets. This should be scrubbed off using a mixture of white vinigar and table salt.
I think over time this corrosion weakens the leather fibers around rivets that over time let's them pull through. After the leather dries, put a good leather conditioner on around the area to soften leather fibers.
A little TLC will prolong your equipment.

New life to an older saddle. This saddle is serial number 444. Made in dad's shop in 1956.
Rebuilt rigging. New wool skin. Hopefully ready for another 60 years.
The leather was still supple. Goes to only using quality leather( most likely from the old Bona Allen tannery.
