Mother Nature put on quite a show Thursday evening! This breathtaking sunset, captured by Jen Lane, painted the sky with brilliant shades of gold, orange, and blue while creating a stunning reflection across the water.
Moments like these remind us why life at The Strand is so special. Whether you’re enjoying an evening stroll, relaxing on your lanai, or simply taking in the view, there’s nothing quite like a Southwest Florida sunset to end the day.

🤠👢 Another fantastic night of Country Line Dancing!
Our second Country Line Dancing night was filled with great music, lots of laughs, and plenty of dancing. The excitement continues to grow as members come together each week to learn new steps and have fun on the dance floor.
A big shoutout to Geidy Lopez, who had everyone two-stepping, grapevining, and kicking up their heels all evening long! 💃🕺
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the night such a success. We can’t wait to do it all again next Wednesday from 6:00–7:00 PM.

⛳️ Future Golf Stars in the Making!
Junior Golf Camp is officially underway at The Club at The Strand, and our practice facilities were filled with smiles, enthusiasm, and plenty of great swings today.
Led by Assistant Golf Professional Nick Patton, campers are learning the fundamentals of golf while building confidence, sportsmanship, and a love for the game.
The fun continues every Wednesday and Friday through August 7, and there’s still time to join! Contact the Golf Shop for registration information.

Congratulations to Gail Ward on an incredible Hole In One over the holiday weekend! Gail got her celebration started in style while playing one of our wonderful reciprocal clubs, Wyndemere Country Club, on the Gold Course.
The unforgettable shot took place on Hole #4 from 136 yards on Sunday, May 24th, with Gail beautifully striking a gorgeous 6-hybrid straight into the cup! Witnessing the exciting moment were Dian Parisi, Patti Muir, and Gayle Nix, who were there to celebrate the amazing shot firsthand.
What a fantastic accomplishment and a Memorial Day weekend to remember! Congratulations again, Gail! ⛳🎉

Saturday marked the final Bocce Playoffs of the season at The Club at the Strand — and what a fantastic finish it was! 🎉
After an exciting spring season featuring 22 competitive teams, the championship came down to an action-packed finale filled with friendly competition, great sportsmanship, and plenty of cheering from fellow members.
Congratulations to Rollin’ Legends for rolling their way to the championship title after defeating Bocce Impaired in the finals! Their road to victory included wins over Big Le Bocce in the quarterfinals and Huskies in the semifinals before capturing the championship crown.
A huge thank you to all of our players, supporters, and organizers for another memorable bocce season filled with laughter, camaraderie, and fun competition both on and off the court. Year after year, our Bocce League continues to grow thanks to the incredible members who make this such a special part of life at The Strand.
