We are honored to share The Club at the Strand’s submission for the 2027–2028 Platinum Clubs® of America Election!
Platinum Clubs® of America is one of the most prestigious distinctions in the private club industry, recognizing an elite group of clubs that demonstrate exceptional standards in leadership, operations, amenities, service, member engagement, governance, innovation, and the overall club experience. The 2027–2028 election will recognize just 320 clubs nationwide across six categories.
For The Club at the Strand, pursuing Platinum recognition is about much more than earning an accolade. It is about holding ourselves to a standard of excellence, learning from the finest private clubs in the country, and continuing to elevate the experience we provide to our Members every day.
We believe The Strand embodies the spirit of a Platinum Club through our engaged and welcoming Membership, our dedicated and talented team, our exceptional golf, sports, fitness, dining and social amenities, and our continued commitment to investing in the future of our Club. ⛳ Golf Course Renovation Update: Savannah Greens
Another important milestone in our golf course renovation was completed earlier this week as crews topdressed the Savannah greens.
A light layer of sand was carefully applied across the putting surfaces to help smooth and firm the greens, improve drainage, and encourage healthy turf growth as the newly established grass continues to mature.
From sprigging and mowing to rolling, topdressing, and ongoing turf care, every step brings the Savannah Course closer to being ready for play.

🌱 Another Exciting Milestone on the Preserve Course!
Fresh TifEagle sprigging was completed last Friday on Preserve 6 through 9, bringing these newly renovated greens one step closer to their finished look.
Even more exciting, this completed the grassing of all 28 putting greens as part of our golf course renovation—a major milestone in the transformation of our courses!
It’s exciting to watch the fresh TifEagle take shape as we move closer to welcoming our Golf members back to all 27 beautifully renovated holes.

🌱 Preserve 5 Is Getting Greener! ⛳
Another exciting milestone in our golf course renovation is taking shape as fresh sod is installed around the Preserve 5 green surrounds.
Following weeks of shaping, irrigation work, bunker construction, and preparation, the addition of new turf is bringing the redesigned green complex to life. With every section of sod installed, we’re getting a clearer look at the finished Preserve 5!

Preserve 2 Fairway Expansion Takes Shape ⛳
More exciting progress is happening on Preserve 2!
Crews are continuing to reshape and expand the fairway, and the transformation is becoming easier to see with each step. The expanded playing area is helping define the new look and feel of the hole as our golf course renovation moves forward.
From greens and bunkers to tees, surrounds, irrigation, and fairways, every improvement brings us one step closer to the finished vision across all 27 holes.
