Celebrating 15 years of Neighborhood Barre today! Kelsey here (owner and instructor here at NB Newnan)! Between the celebrations and it being a throwback Thursday (that’s still a thing right 😉), it felt like the perfect time to take a stroll down memory lane and my personal journey with NB…

2017 Took my first Neighborhood Barre class (and continued taking as a client through 2021)
2021 Became an instructor
2022 Moved to Newnan and opened NB Newnan
2023 Celebrated 1 year open while pregnant
2024 Had a baby and celebrated 2 years of NB Newnan
2025 3 years of NB Newnan
2026 4 years of NB Newnan and NBs golden bday (15 years on the 10/15)

Cheers to the next 15 years of NB!

This month we are celebrating 15 years of Neighborhood Barre. How fitting that it’s also Women Small Business Month!

We are so proud to be part of a franchise where each studio is women-owned. Also fun fact, a majority of the businesses in Downtown Newnan are woman-owned! What a privilege to be in this industry, this city, and in the small biz world alongside some other incredible women.

To each person who has supported us, and any other woman-owned business, thank you. You are supporting real people, families, and your local economy. Cheers to an incredible month celebrating women-owned small businesses and 15 years of an incredible franchise who has made this possible for us here at NB Newnan! (15 years on 10/15 🪩💪)

⭐️50 CLASSES⭐️

Congrats to our girl Mary Helen on officially reaching barre star status with 50 barre classes! We are so proud of her hard work and making time for herself with her busy (and adventurous ✈️) schedule as a flight attendant! Cheers to such an amazing milestone and many more classes together! Be sure to congratulate Mary Helen the next time you see her and in the comments below 👇

What’s your favorite thing about Neighborhood Barre Newnan?
“I love how easy it is to come to class, not have to think about making up my own workouts and seeing results! I also love how many of my friends are apart of barre and getting to see their sweet faces as we shake through a four count drop together🤭“

Today’s a bittersweet one as we say goodbye to one of our fav instructors (and neighbors), Sara, who is taking a step away from the mic🩷 She has been part of the studio as a client since day 1 and an instructor for the last 3 years. We have so loved getting to shake and sweat with her. Whether it’s been taking class together or getting our butts kicked in a strength class. She always bring the heat, the sass, and an amazing workout (especially to our early-birds). As she steps into a new chapter, she is taking a step back from our instructor team. Although this is truly so bittersweet, we are so excited to watch her journey and are cheering her on towards whatever lies ahead. After 463 classes taught and 530 classes taken, we are so proud of her heart and dedication to herself, our neighbors, and this studio.

Please leave a comment below or reply on our stories wishing Sara well and giving her the best send-off! Thanks for everything Sara, you’ll always be our neighbor

What’s your favorite thing about Neighborhood Barre Newnan?
“I don’t think I can have just one favorite thing about Barre! I love the variety of classes to take. I love the Barre 50 and hybrid classes because we get a full body workout. I can definitely tell the difference in my stamina and muscle definition. I feel stronger and healthier overall, and that was my goal! With being in my 40’s, I really appreciate all the encouragement and direction from the coaches on how to protect our bodies. Thank you all🤍🤍 I really feel at home at Neighborhood Barre of Newnan🤍🤍”
