Do you have a dog who loves water as much as our favorite dog model, Odin?

Then get ready for the most fun day of the year? We have 10 days left in the pool season which means it is almost Doggie Dip Day! Bring your favorite pup on August 26 from 5-7pm. Dogs must be leashed when they come in to the facility and only dogs should be in the water. Cost is $4 per dog and your dog gets a free tennis ball with admission.

We are adding a week of morning lap swim! Next week come start your mornings the right way with a few laps in the pool! August 17-20, 7:00-9:00 am. It’s our last week of the season so make sure you take advantage of your last shot at some pool exercise!

We are offering lap swim again this week, Monday-Thursday from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. Hopefully the AQI will cooperate. Come in for a great way to start your day! Pass holders only.

Is that a blue sky we see? The air quality is decent for now so we are opening on time today (8/7). We don’t know how long it will last but are going to enjoy it while we have the chance!

4:15 Update: Unfortunately, the AQI went up over the past hour so we will not be opening and night lessons are sadly cancelled. We are heart broken that this is how the swim lessons season ends. We have achievement cards written up and they can be picked up at the front desk.

3:45 Update: The AQI isn’t quite there yet. But we are hoping it will drop more in the next hour. We will have another update at 4:30. Keep your fingers crossed.

11:20 Update: The AQI is not on our side right now. We will not be opening at noon today (8/6). We are really, really hoping the air changes before the 3:30 update. Check back then.

Unfortunately, the air quality did not work in our favor today (8/6). We are incredibly sad that we did not get a last day with our morning lessons. Our teachers genuinely love working with your swimmers and wanted to be here with them. But the smoke and wind just did not work out for us like we wanted it to. We are still hopeful for the afternoon so please check in later today.

3:30 pm Update (8/5): we wish we had better news but the air quality is not dropping like we hoped. We will be remaining closed for the evening. Swim lessons will be canceled for the night and we are keeping our fingers crossed that tomorrow will be a better day. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

11:20 am Update (8/5): the AQI is still too high to open at noon. But we are holding out hope for night lessons. Check back in around 3:15 pm

8:16 am Update (8/5): the AQI is currently increasing so morning lessons are canceled today. We are so sorry.

Trust us, we hate this as much as you do. Let’s hope the fires get under control soon!

Update 2:00 pm on August 4: we are open for now and will see how long we can make that last.

Sadly, the air has not gotten much better. The Pendleton Aquatic Center will not be opening at noon on August 4th. Please check in later today for further updates.

Don’t forget… Lap Swim is open tomorrow morning from 7-9am. Pass holders only. Head to the PSA gate by the old pool house (there will be signs) and then check-in by the deep end of the 50m pool. Can’t wait to see you there!
