Even if you don't use Switcher Studio - Here is some great tips on sharing your video. These tips are also useful when using Streamyard, Ecamm Live, and Restream.

If you've been keeping up with Meta updates, you may have seen the news (Thanks TechCrunch!) that its existing Facebook Groups API is being depreciated in favor of Facebook Graph API v19.0.

This update will change the way our users stream to Facebook Groups, but WON'T affect the way you stream or multistream to public pages.

The good news is, you can continue to easily stream or multistream to a Facebook Group using a few of our newer tools:

1) Go live to a Switcher Player, and share the Player Page link in a post to your Facebook group. The Player Page Link will take your users directly to your stream, no website needed. (Learn More about Player Page Links in our Help Center!)

2) If you have a website, you can livestream there using Switcher Player’s embed feature and share your website link directly to your Facebook Group. This has the added benefit of driving your audience to the website you own!

3) Lastly, you still have the option to invite your Facebook Group members to a live Facebook Event. If you need the stream to be exclusive, make the Event private, with invitations only available to members of your FB Group.

How's everyone doing? Our house is almost decorated... I didn't really decorate. Just pointed and said yes put that there. I even haven't touched the ornaments on the tree. I usually move them around, but i cant stand without the crutches- so it will just will stay how it is. The lights still need the lights done outside and around the windows. And I have a small tree in my office I'm going to decorate after the lights go on them.

I've been doing my advent calendar... it's a puzzle this year. And I also have some ornaments I'm going to start making.

My foot is taking a little longer for me to be walking on it. I can't seek to find the happy medium on how much weight to put on my foot; how much PT is enough; how long to walk with the crutches. So I'm working through that now.

There's a bunch of things that are really bothering me.... I can't just decide to go somewhere; and I can't decide that that I want to make cookies.... I'm trying to do what I know I can do. But I really want to be making cookies and go out shopping.

And then on the flip side... I really seem to be "squirrel'ing"! Lol. Bright shiny object syndrome is real!!

It's been month since foot surgery and today I started physical therapy. According to my PT it's looking really good. Better than he expected!

I'm glad it's going faster than I thought it would. I still can't be making dinners... and driving isn't allowed until mid January at this point. I'll be in the boot until the end of December.

I'm still having my good days and bad days. But this last year has really helped me listen to my body. One thing I have learned this year is to make sure I'm putting my core first. Making sure emotionally and physically are good before anything. Putting myself first.

Although she would tell me I did all the work!! ;) She teaches how you put your core first... so that you can get to the other important things in your life!! As I was getting close to 160k miles, I was trying to guess where I would hit 160k. If it was a couple years ago, my guess would have been on a trip down to South Carolina to Coastal Carolina University. However, it's now, and I know where I mostly go and where I mostly am. So it didn't surprise me at all where I was when I hit 160k.

I hit 160k at the exit off of the local highway to head home. My guess was on the highway.. now I didn't say specifically where, or specifically what day or time... but I knew when I was getting closer the approximate time would be; but the specific time and day was still very iffy. I wasn't sure when the exact moment would be when the excitement of 160k would happen.

However, you can plan out with confidence when your videos will be shown, when you are going LIVE, and know exactly when you will be hitting that 160th video posted! Its all about planning, it's a strategic plan that you use with your current marketing plan. And if you do not have a marketing plan, this is the best time to create a marketing plan!
