Over 850 campers from YMCA Summer Day Camp locations across the Valley headed to the Arizona Diamondbacks game for a day of baseball, friendship, and summer fun. Creating memories like these is what summer at the Y is all about!

A full Saturday at the Watts Family Maryvale YMCA! 🏀
Our Jr. Suns and Jr. Mercury athletes filled the gym with excitement while the Kicks for Kids car wash fundraiser brought our community together for an amazing cause.
A huge thank you to Coach Jerry Moreno for leading this effort to help provide basketball shoes to kids in our community. Every child deserves the opportunity to play with confidence, pride, and purpose, and we’re grateful for everyone who supported this mission.
Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer on our athletes, get their car washed, donate, and make the day a success. Together, we’re making a difference both on and off the court.

Looking for a summer opportunity that pays while helping you build valuable career skills?
The Phoenix Youth R.I.S.E. (Reach and Invest in Summer Employment) Program is now accepting applications for paid internships for Phoenix residents ages 16 to 24.
Participants will:
• Earn $15.15 per hour
• Gain hands on work experience
• Build professional skills and workplace confidence
• Make valuable career connections
Internships run for 2 or 4 weeks (80 total hours) between June and July 31.

A huge thank you to Stantec for their incredible generosity and partnership with the Valley of the Sun YMCA!
This week, Stantec employees rolled up their sleeves and volunteered at Y Academy at Monterey Park, helping prepare clothing for the expansion of the community clothing closet.
They also spent time at the Chandler YMCA, giving our Mother’s Room and meeting spaces a fresh new look with a fresh coat of paint.
In addition to donating their time and talents, Stantec made a generous $9,000 contribution to support our mission and strengthen the communities we serve.
We are so grateful for partners like Stantec who help create welcoming spaces and meaningful impact for our members, families, and staff. Thank you for making a difference!

Yesterday, we celebrated an exciting milestone at the Northwest Valley Family YMCA with a ribbon cutting recognizing facility improvements made possible through the support of the City of El Mirage.
Thank you to Mayor Alexis Hermosillo, city leaders, community partners, board members, and everyone who joined us for this special occasion. We were also honored to hear inspiring Mission Moments from Dearadra Smiley, Harmonee, and Angelique Torres, whose stories reminded us of the lasting impact of the Y.
These enhancements will help us continue creating a stronger, healthier community while bringing our commitment to Be Well. Do Good. Lead Change. to life every day.
