Valley of the Sun YMCA is happy to announce we have received a grant from Step Into Swim, a nationwide initiative dedicated to creating safe swimmers. With this grant, we will be able to teach more children critical water safety skills that can help save lives and keep them safe in and around water!

What a week for YMCA sports! 🏀🏐

Our Jr. Suns athletes competed in the Valley-Wide Championship Games at Mortgage Match-Up Center, while our volleyball teams took the court for the Valley-Wide Volleyball Championships at Mesa Community College.

From exciting competition to unforgettable memories, these moments are a celebration of the hard work, teamwork, and dedication our athletes show all season long.

This week, our I-Learn program, in partnership with the Chandler Unified School District, celebrated 19 seniors who chose an alternative path to earning their high school diploma.

Throughout the program, students participated in Lunch & Learns, career development courses, and workforce experiences designed to prepare them for life after graduation.

We are so proud of these graduates and excited for what comes next for each of them. Their hard work and perseverance are inspiring, and we are honored to be part of their journey.

This is why the YMCA is committed to helping young people succeed and thrive.
