On Monday, NCSC was proud to sponsor the delivery 500 brand new adidas soccer balls to North Clackamas Schools for distribution to elementary schools all over the school district. The balls were provided as part of the FIFA Football for Schools program and US Soccer's Soccer for Schools initiative. Adidas and US Soccer provided the balls, and NCSC paid for the freight costs from Florida to Oregon. We are really excited to see our kids playing soccer with brand new balls during recess as soon as next week!

This post from Ohio is a great 5 minute read, and one our youth athletes will all benefit from! 👍

When the match gets tense, it’s easy to call out reminders from the sideline. But a stream of instructions can split your player’s attention and add pressure, when they need room to read the game and trust themselves.

Try cheering encouragement instead: “I love watching you play,” “Keep working,” or simply, “You’ve got this.” Then let the coach handle the tactics. Your support helps your player focus, play calmer, and enjoy the game more freely.
