Let us show you.
Pilates Plus RVA
Fun, intelligent, and accessible movement for all ability levels.
Pilates Plus has a variety of instructors and class options (private, semi private, group) to meet all of your fitness goals.
No, this isn’t slowed down for Instagram.
This is the actual pace.
Strength isn’t always explosive. Sometimes the real challenge is moving slowly enough to own every inch of the movement.
Control. Precision. Stability.
There’s something about walking into a bright, calm space that makes your nervous system unclench a little.
We wanted Pilates Plus to feel like that.
Light-filled.
Welcoming.
Peaceful.
And yes… easy parking too!
“Get summer-ready” means different things around here.
Maybe it means:
• your back hurts less on vacation
• you can carry the beach chairs without tweaking your shoulder
• you have more energy with your kids
• you stop feeling stiff every morning
We’re not really in the business of shrinking people.
We’re in the business of helping people move better for life 🤍

The work is challenging.
But it’s the in-between moments we love just as much 🤍

Pilates isn’t new.
And it’s not a trend.
It’s a method that’s lasted because it works—when it’s taught with care, intention, and respect for the body.
At Pilates Plus, we’re committed to honoring the method while meeting modern bodies where they are.
Timeless movement.
Thoughtfully taught.

Summer’s coming… and routines are about to get a little unpredictable.
More kids at home.
More moving parts.
Less structure (in the best and hardest ways).
This is your reminder that taking 50 minutes for yourself still counts.
Especially now.
We’ll be here. DM us to learn how you can find out about last minute openings each week.

“Think about how you’re moving, not just what you’re doing.”
One of the things you’ll hear a lot here —
and one of the reasons this work actually sticks.
Got the idea from - pretty sure we kicked their butts! Guess pilates is awesome 😎
Give it a try and let us know how it goes. (Tip- use your face)
Legs lifting keeping you from a roll up?
Try this chair variation. In a roll up, your legs are your base holding you down while you lift your upper body up. The heavier they can be, the easier this exercise is. If your legs start to lift up, you’re sending yourself in the wrong direction. The legs are sending you backwards towards the floor as you’re trying to go forward towards your feet. The light pedal on the chair helps us find the exact location in your rollup that your legs start to take over and lift. This allows you to train in that really challenging spot to strengthen the abdominals and teach your body how to keep your legs heavy during a rollup.
