Join your TRS friends at the Brambleton Recreation Center for a totally rad evening featuring a live DJ spinning your favorite hits, snacks, mocktails, and nonstop dancing. This Night Club experience is tailored to serve individuals with disabilities. You won't want to miss this blast from the past! ⚡️🕶️

📅 Saturday, June 20: Booker T. Washington Juneteenth Celebration (Hardy, VA) Commemorate the 160th anniversary of emancipation at the National Monument with live music, living history, and guided plantation tours! Pickups: Brambleton Center (9 AM) & Clearbrook Walmart (9:20 AM)
📅 Saturday, June 27: Berkeley Springs State Park & Buc-ee's! Wade in the beautiful, historic 74.3-degree natural warm mineral springs right in the center of town, visit the museum, and—yes—we are stopping at Buc-ee's along the way! 🦫 Pickups: Brambleton Center (8 AM) & Bonsack Walmart (8:20 AM)
📅 Saturday, July 18: Hungry Mother Festival (Marion, VA) Enjoy juried arts and crafts, live music, and delicious food nestled in a gorgeous state park! Plus, we'll visit historic downtown Marion to see the official state marker where Mountain Dew was invented. 🥤 Pickups: Brambleton Center (9 AM), Salem Food Lion Exit 137 (9:20 AM) & Christiansburg Hardee's Exit 118 (9:45 AM)

Arts in the Park (June 22): Join us at Garst Mill Park from 9:00 am to 10:00 am to celebrate the start of summer with painting and drawing. Please RSVP by June 17th.
Summer Solstice Yoga (June 22): Enjoy a restorative outdoor yoga session from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm as part of our "Play all Day" event.
Berkeley Springs & Buc-ees Trip (June 27): Explore natural springs and history, with a legendary stop at Buc-ees! We depart at 8:00 am and return around 8:00 pm.

📣 NEW THIS SUMMER: Adaptive Sports Camp! 🏀♿
We are thrilled to partner with Maples Kids and Wheel Love to bring a brand-new, inclusive sports camp to the Green Ridge Recreation Center!
Designed for ages 13+ with physical disabilities or impairments, this camp offers a supportive, high-energy environment to build skills, make friends, and learn dynamic wheelchair sports. No daily wheelchair experience required—we provide the adaptive sports chairs and the education to use them!

We have a packed schedule of new programs kicking off next week! From 8-week creative series to one-day workshops, there is something for everyone to learn and enjoy:
🏺 Ceramics (Starts June 9): Explore the behavior of glazes and create your own decor or dishes in this 8-week series with Ozzy Freidline.
🎨 Mixed Media Club (Starts June 9): Stretch your skills on and off the canvas with guidance from Lillian Brue.
🖼️ Art Through the Ages: Pop Art! (June 12): Get the skinny on the 1950s/60s Pop Art movement! Light snacks are included.
