One week till the 525 & Under barbox event at Slate. We already have 13 signed up and we are looking to get at least a 16 players bracket for the Ladies, May 30 (Saturday) 8-ball tournament. Contact Samuel Howell if you can play. Have a great Memorial Day weekend.

We had our first 9-ball event on the 9’ tables this Thursday night (WNT style with the 9 ball on the spot). I want to thank everyone who participated. Personally, this summer schedule (finale set for July 25th) will be a great new way to develop my 9 ball game back into competitive form. Shout out to Dave O’Keeffe, Braylon Jensen and Kindra Prestegard for staying up till 3am to watch to finals between me and JD. I won the hot seat but JD Prestegard proved to be deserving of 1st place by winning the one-race final by a score of 8-5. Nice win JD! Braylon Jensen took 3rd and Chris Hennen got 4th. See you on May 28th for the second event of the Summer series.

Congratulations Kregg Hurlbert! Kregg finished off the 625 & under 9 ball tournament with a great victory over Nick Lahr tonight (the final score was 17 to 12). Thank you, JD Prestegard for organizing and running a great tournament. Also, thanks to Dave O’Keeffe and Slate Billiard Club for hosting this great event. Sam Howell and I had a fun night commentating as well. Onto the next big event. Thank you everyone for participating.
