A beautiful sunrise. A field full of strong humans. And one more workout in the books.

You know what's not on most people's fitness goals list?
๐ Getting up off the floor.
But maybe it should be.
Today our campers practiced one of the most functional movements we do: sitting down on the floor and standing back up again.
No fancy equipment. No complicated choreography. Just a skill that matters in real life.
Because fitness isn't only about how much you can lift or how fast you can run.
It's about being able to get down on the floor to play with the grandbabies. It's about having confidence if you take a tumble. It's about staying independent for as long as possible.
Is it challenging?
Yep.
Do people cheer when we put it in the workout?
Nope. ๐
But we keep practicing because our future selves will thank us.

Who loves some asparagus?
We know this spring veggie is known for making p*e smell funny BUT it is also full of vitamins & fiber and it's LOW in calories.
One more thing, do any of you eat just the bottom of the asparagus and not the flowery top?

๐ 16 YEARS. ๐
Sixteen years ago, Sheri Stuhlsatz Bickmeyer joined BCC.
Since then, she's raised five children, become a grandma of six, built a career, supported her husband's business, and lived through all the beautiful and messy seasons of life.
And through it all, she kept showing up.
Not because every day was easy. Not because she was always motivated. But because she made her health a priority.
Sixteen years of workouts. Sixteen years of friendships. Sixteen years of choosing herself.
What an incredible example of consistency, strength, and commitment.
We're so grateful you've been part of our fitfam for the last 16 years. ๐๐ค

Yesterday, these two incredible campers both set a personal record on their 1-mile run.
And here's what.
A PR isn't just about running faster.
It's about showing up when it's hard.
It's about doing the work when nobody's watching.
It's about staying consistent long enough to surprise yourself.
These photos tell the story perfectly.
Confidence. Effort. Determination.
And then, complete exhaustion. ๐
When you give your best effort, sometimes you end up flat on your back on a track.
And sometimes you end up with a brand-new personal record. ๐
We are so proud of these chicas and the work they've put in to get here.๐๐ค
